CHAPTER FIFTEEN :

'No ! I won't.' said Zoya in low voice and shook her head in no. He looked at her in disbelief. He couldn't believe that she was saying no to him. For the first time in his life, Zoya wasn't listening to him. The girl who was always dependant on him was sitting against him right now. The only reason he could make up in his mind was the house, this cursed house who was taking away his Zoya from her.

'Mr Khan we are getting late. We would really appreciate it if you would make it fast.' They both were lost in eachothers eyes when the Officer disturbed them. Asad took a minute to understand everything.

'Your daughter is not aware of anything, she is in her room. You have ten minutes to talk to her for the last time.' Officer told him again and Asad's anger boiled up.

'Who the hell are you to tell me that it is the last time ?' He roared while going closer to him while the officer took two steps back as he saw Asad's eyes turning red. 'I will handle you later but remember one thing that she is my daughter and I don't need your advice about her good and bad.' He said angrily.

'Asad please I can't live without her.' and you too but you have left me no other choice. She requested saying the last words under her breath. He moved back from the officer and looked at her again.

'I can't live without you damn it !' He snapped back while tears fell from his eyes. She closed her eyes trying to understand what she should do.

'Then why did you do all this ?' She asked after a while and looked at him.

'Did what ? Atleast tell me what have I done Zoya ?' He asked confusedly while sitting on his knees infront of her and took her hands in his.

'Don't behave like you don't know anything.' She said and smiled sarcastically.

'I don't know what you are saying Zoya, I am just trying to understand your reaction and I feel like something big is bothering you.' He said while looking into her teary eyes which showed only anger toward him.

'It is big ! It is ! You are ---- ' She stopped as she couldn't say by herself what Sophia told her. Maybe he doesn't know that Sophia told me everything. 'Why don't you go and ask your Sophia ?' Zoya asked him annoyingly as her mind was again diverting to last night rather than his eyes full of love.

'What did she do ?' He asked confusedly while Zoya was getting confused with his words.

'Mrs Khan we are getting late, if you don't want to come let us know.' Officer said in stern tone and Asad looked up at him.

'Asad let me go now.' said Zoya after a while. He stood up and felt like killing the officer who interrupted between them again.

'I mind it ! You are supposed to say No Zoya. Don't go ! I can't live without you.' He remembered how she told him to stop her by these words.

'Don't go Zoya ! I can't live without you.' He said with hope for one last time. She understood that he was repeating her words but didn't answer him back.

'You can go from here Zoya but you can't go away from me, I will bring you back from wherever you go.' He warned her without caring about the officers and walked upstairs to Ayat's room while Zoya hugged her knees to hide her tears. He wiped off his tears and dialed Sophia's number before entering Ayat's room. She picked up the call and greeted him.

'Have you said anything to Zoya ?' asked Asad confusedly as soon as she picked up as he knew he wasn't having too much time.

'Me ? About what ?' She behaved as she wasn't aware of anything.

'Did she call you ? Have you both talked in last two days ?' He asked her sternly.

'Ya she did yesterday. She was behaving strange and I didn't want to tell you but she thinks you are having an affair with me.' Sophia lied to him while Asad was shocked to know the reason behind her anger.

'No ! She can never think like that on her own unless you have said anything to her.' He said after a while as he knew Zoya's nature very well while Sophia was quiet after that.

'I haven't said her anything. She is the one accusing me.' Sophia said sheepishly as she wasn't expecting Asad to believe Zoya even in this situation.

'No ! She can't do that. No one knows her more than me and I know she is not wrong.' said Asad annoyingly.

'You mean to say I am lieing ?' She asked in disbelief.

'I guess so ! And if you are then you don't know what I am going to do with you Sophia.' He said angrily even though he wasn't sure about anything yet while Sophia was shocked as this was not going according to her plan. He knew Zoya felt jealous when he was with Sophia but he was sure that she can never think so cheap about him on her own.

'I will talk to you after a while and in detail ofcourse.' Asad said and disconnected the call and entered her room with a smile. She was busy coloring a picture when he couldn't feel the courage to say goodbye to her. Was he really seeing her for the last time ?

'What happened Abu ?' Ayat looked up and asked while looking at his stunned face. 'And why is ami not allowing me to come down ?' She asked innocently and closed her book. He walked closer to her and took her in his arms.

'She is waiting for you Shona. You both are going to New York.' said Asad while hugging her.

'Ami told me already but are you not coming with ush ?' She asked innocently as she was told by Zoya that they all are going.

'I will come tomorrow Shona.' He said and pecked his lips on her cheek.

'Are you crying abu ?' Ayat asked him while looking into his teary eyes.

'Yes ! I will miss you.' Asad said to her and hugged again.

'I will missh you too abu but I will call you. I remember your number shtill. Its 954 right ?' She asked him with her dimpled smile and he smiled as he remembered the day when he spent hours to make her understand his number.

'Yes do call me when you reach there.' He said while coming out of her room. Ayat looked at the crowd in her house surprisingly.

'Abu why are sho many people here ?' She asked him while looking down.

'They are here to say you goodbye.' He lied to her while coming down the stairs.

'Wow ! How it happened in Barbie's movie ?' She asked him excitedly and he chuckled forgetting the pain he was feeling right now.

'Ya and they will drop you to airport too.' He said at the last stairs.

'You are not coming to the airport with ush ?' She asked confusedly.

'No ! I have a meeting actually.' He lied again while Zoya stood up and came closer behind the officer while another man took away their luggage. 'Bye Shona take care of yourself.' Asad said and hugged her again. He wasn't worried about Ayat as he knew she would be with Zoya and she can take care of her, the only person he was worried about was Zoya.

'You too abu.' Ayat said with a smile and he looked at her for one last time before giving to Zoya.

'And take care of your ami too. You know how stupid she is. She never realizes her mistake until its too late.' He said while looking at Zoya sadly while Zoya looked at him in disbelief.

'Ya maybe.' Ayat sighed sadly. 'But you should have tried to change her.' Ayat said to tease Zoya repeating the words she always used to say whenever he shared any of Zoya's mistake with her.

'I tried my best but then I realized some things never change Shonuu.' He sighed sadly while still looking at Zoya with hope in his eyes. She looked away as she remembered the first day in this house when they discussed the same thing.

'But I am not shtupid abu.' Ayat said to him with her eyes wide open.

'Yes you are not because you are my daughter.' He said proudly and she hugged him. Zoya wiped the tears off her face and tried to be confident enough. 'Time to go Ayat.' Asad said and kissed her forehead and gave her to Zoya who was waiting already.

He stood there while Zoya walked out from the house and Ayat waved her hand happily. He sat on the last stair as he couldn't believe that Zoya left him.

Dilshad entered the house after Mr Sharma dropped her while Asad was still sitting on the stairs and recalling his life with Zoya. He couldn't find any mistake done by him then why was life doing all this with him ?

'Asad ?' Dilshad placed her hand on his shoulder and he looked up at her. 'What is all this I am listening Asad ? Where is Zoya ?' She asked him worriedly.

'She left already.' He said calmly while looking down. 'She left me ami. She knows I can't live without her still she left me.' He continued in same tone but Dilshad could feel pain in his words. 'She knows its hard for me to think when she is angry on me still she is not talking to me.' He said while looking up at her.

'Asad ! Calm down ! She will be back, I will talk to her.' Dilshad said worriedly while cupping his face.

'She knows I can't sleep whole night when she is upset still she left me here without letting me explain anything.' He continued without caring about what Dilshad was saying.

'Asad look here ! She can't go anywhere, I will talk to her infact we are going to New York tomorrow.' Dilshad said to him in stern tone while moving his face upward so he can look at her. His eyes became moist again as soon as he saw Dilshad's teary eyes.

'Ami you know ---- she know ----- ' He continued again while his voice was dropping down as his throat was dry by now. 'She knows she always takes wrong decisions without my advice still she took the biggest decision of ---- her life ---- our life ---- without discussing with me.' He said with teary eyes while Dilshad wasn't understanding how she should stop him.

'Ami if she knows then why is she doing all this ?' Asad asked her as he wanted to know any mistake done by him while Dilshad was quiet as she was also not aware of anything.

'You know ami why she left me ?' Asad asked her with a smile on his face after a while and Dilshad looked at him confusedly.

'The reason is this house. This cursed house.' He said while looking at the walls of the house. 'The bitch who stays here cursed us and her magic is working on Zoya.' said Asad with hate in his tone while Dilshad was looking at him with his eyes wide open. 'Today when I looked into her eyes ami ---- I couldn't find my Zoya.' He said in disbelief.

'She wasn't the girl I loved, she wasn't the one who trusted me most in this world, she wasn't the one who's first priority was always me, she wasn't -----' Asad started complaining again like a small kid when Dilshad interrupted him.

'Have you both fought Asad ?' Dilshad asked him while he stood up and walked two steps ahead leaving her back.

'I don't know what we have done. I don't know anything ami.' said Asad while taking his fingers in his hair and tried to relax himself. 'But I know that she can never do all this by her own, this bitch is the one who is ruling her mind.' said Asad while Dilshad was still not sure what he was talking about.

'But you know what ?' Asad shouted while looking here and there as he knew the spirit must be there with them. 'You can't do this with us because this time you are playing with my life and I won't let you do that.' said Asad in the same tone while Dilshad wasn't understanding who he was talking to. 'This time I will show you that our love can fight through your curse. I promise you that she will be back here with me in few days.' Asad said in stern tone and Dilshad and Asad could hear some noises coming from a distant room. Dilshad was shocked because of the noise while Asad dialed Mr Sharma's number.

'Mr Sharma book tickets of me and ami for New York tomorrow.' Asad said on the phone and looked at Dilshad's worried face. He disconnected the phone and walked toward her.

'Ami talk to Zoya as soon as she is there and ask her what Sophia and she has talked about.' Asad said while Dilshad looked at him confusedly.

'Who is Sophia ?' She asked him and he started telling her everything that happened in last one month.

I cant live without u dammit!U made u cry today especially when Ayat said I know ur no.Its 954 right?And when Asad is talking to Dilshad that his Zoya had left him.She knows that she wil always take wrong decision without my advice but still she left me😭He knws her very well.She cud never think that cheap ever on her own!Loved the way he still supported her!

Awesome!!! i love this part so much,... it was indeed a very sad update,... ayat is so cutee...she finally memorized the numbers asad taught her, i wish they had a conversation before all this happen!! 😭 💔
