Five days have passed after that. Zoya's ignorance was still the same. She was sleeping when Asad was busy talking to Dilshad outside her ward.
'But she is not talking to me, how am I supposed to ask her for marriage so soon ?' Asad asked confusedly.
'It doesn't matter to me, if you want to marry her then you have to talk to her soon. Her father told me about some proposals and I told him about how much you both love eachother and he is happy to know that she wants to marry you.' Dilshad told him and he took a deep sigh.
'And as he is here for one more week so he wants to see her Nikaah soon.' Dilshad said and looked at his worried face.
'Why is he always getting rid of his responsibilities ? I seriously don't like him.' Asad tried to take out his anger on her father.
'And why are you always running from marriage ? You have to marry one day.' Dilshad asked him back.
'Its not easy to talk to her in that way. I have never done that before.' Asad said. He was still working on her ignorance and here she was giving him more hurdles.
'Bhaijaan is going to ask her tomorrow, if you want to marry her then you have to clear everything with her before that.' Dilshad said.
'Ok. I will try to talk to her.' He said finally.
'Best of luck !' Dilshad said with a smile but he couldn't smile back.
Its not that easy Asad ! What would you say her ? Sorry Zoya, I was just kidding that night. You love me, I love you so lets get married. He thought annoyingly.

He came to her ward with two cups of coffee and extended his hand to give her one. She quietly took one from his hand and he sighed in relief. In last five days, this was the first time she was taking coffee from him.
'We need to talk.' Asad said while sitting on the chair near her. She took a sip but didn't answer him back.
Its already hard for me to say all this and she is making it worse.
'Zoya ! atleast say no if you don't want to.' Asad said with hope to listen something from her side but she was still quiet. He stood up and walked to the other side. She could only see his back now.
'I don't mean anything I said that night.' He said finally and turned back. She was looking at him.
'I never wanted to say all that but. . . .' Asad was going to say something when she interrupted for the first time.
'But you said it ! And I am happy that you did that.' She said angrilly. Asad gulped at her tone. He wanted her to speak but as soon as she did he thought It was better when she was quiet, atleast I would have said whatever I want to. He moved near her and sat back on the chair.
'But I didn't mean anything. I am sorry for that.' He said and took her hand in his hand.
'You don't need to feel guilty everytime, this accident was supposed to happen anyway. You are not linked to it.' She said with teary eyes and took out her hand from his hand. He thought he should come to the point.
'I am not guilty because I kissed you.' He said while looking into her eyes. She looked down, she wasn't expecting that straight words from him.
I hope she stays quiet now. He thought but she was bold enough to disccuss anything with him.
'Thats great. I must appreciate you.' She clapped and he raised his hand to his forehead. 'You stole my first kiss and you were guilty after that but now after my accident when I was about to die you realized that you are not guilty anymore. Are you even sure about what you want in your life ?' She asked him with hate in her tone. That was the limit, he couldn't control anymore.
'Yes I am damn sure what I want in my life. I want you and I love you. I loved you yesterday, I love you still, I always have and I always will.' He said while looking into her eyes and she was lost in his eyes. It wasn't that difficult. He took a sigh of relief and started drinking his coffee. She was quiet for a moment.
'No, you don't love me. Stop worrying about me, I am grown up now. I can handle my emotions and myself, I don't need your help anymore.' She said loudly.
'I do love you, Actually I think you don't love me.' He said angrilly.
'That's true. I don't love you. It was just attraction, maybe.' She repeated his words. He was shocked to hear that. He wasn't expecting that from her.
'You do !' He said.
'I don't !' She said with same confidence.
'You do !' He wasn't able to believe that at all.
'But you don't.' She said.
'I do.' He said again.
'Then I don't.' She said again. He pinched the bridge of his nose. Calm down Asad ! Calm down. You can do this. He tried to calm himself and started again.
'I don't know why I am arguing with you ? You never try to understand my point.' Asad said.
'Then don't make me understand. I don't know why you are doing all this ?' She asked.
'We are getting married on Friday.' Asad said suddenly. She was looking at him with her mouth in 'O' shape. He was giving her shock after shock.
'Are you asking me or telling me ?' That was the first thing she could manage to ask. Is it a way to propose ?
'Ofcourse, I am telling you. I don't need to ask you.' He said in normal tone.
'Oh really ? I think you are out of your mind.' She shouted.
'Mind your language.' He said while enjoying her expressions.
'Why you want to get married ? And why you chose me ?' She ignorred what he just said and asked him. He thought for a moment that what should he answer her.
'Ami wants me to get married so I thought that you are a good option.' He said and she raised her eye brow. 'I mean, you are single too and after your accident I just realized that no one else can handle you other than me and. . . .' He was trying to give many reasons possible.
'I knew it, you just want to get married because of this accident. How many times I have to tell you that its not your mistake ?' She asked.
How many times I have to tell her that I love her ? Its not easy for me to say that every minute. He thought annoyingly.
'I wasn't finished yet and ofcourse the main reason is which is a plus point too that we both love eachother.' He said again. I should practice saying this more often.
'I don't love you.' She said after a while. He looked into her eyes, there was so much pain which she was trying to hide. She was trying hard not to believe his words.
'I am not going to argue on that. We can discuss this after we get married.' He said while looking away.
'And why would I marry you ?' She asked him.
'Because you don't have any other option.' He gave a stupid reason.
'Who said I don't have any other option ?' She raised her eyebrow. He looked at her and was sure that she could do anything possible if he challenges her so he backed off from this topic.
'I know you have other options even I have but I want you to choose me because maybe I don't deserve you but still I love you and I can't see you with anyone else.' He knew she wants to listen this so he said. Zoya was quiet for a moment. Her heart was saying that he means each and every word but her mind was not ready to forget their last conversation.
'I won't marry you.' she said angrilly.
'Then I will force you.' He said and she looked at him. Sometimes dreams really do come true but its just too late. She thought.
'You can't force me.' She told him.
'Even I don't want to, Zoya don't make it difficult for me. You know you can't take a right decision when you are angry on me so please just do as I say. I know I deserve punishment and you can punish me in any other way but this is wrong. I don't want to punish you anymore, the only thing I want is that you should get what you want.' He paused for a second she was looking down at her hands. He was sure that she was thinking positive now.
'I know you love me even if you won't agree, I will wait for the day when you will agree yourself and that day is coming very soon, maybe on Friday ?' He asked her and she looked at him in disbelief.
'No, That is definately not this Friday, maybe after many years.' She said and was sure that she can control herself for years.
'Years is too much for you, lets see if you can control yourself for a month ?' He said with a smirk on his face and with that Asad Ahmed Khan was able to convince her again.
'I don't need to control myself, I know I don't love you.' She reminded him and herself too.
'Ok we will see who wins this game.' He said and stood up.
'I will win, I have always won every game from you.' She said proudly.
'That is because I have always let you win but this time I want to win.' He said and winked at her and she realized that he convinced her for what he wanted. She could still remember his words he said that night.
'I have to go to sign your discharge papers.' He said while going out.
'I don't want to marry you.' She shouted at his back. He turned back and smiled.
'We are getting married on Friday.' He repeated his words and walked out.

She was back home after almost 7 days of her accident. Nothing was different, everything was same but her feelings were not. She was still not ready for the wedding. She was still feeling that he is doing all this for her only. There was a war going on between her mind and her heart.
'Zoya, your father is here. He wants to talk to you.' Dilshad came to her room and said.
'Ok. I am coming.' Zoya said while coming out of her thoughts.
'No, he wants to talk alone so he is coming here.' Dilshad told her.
'But why here ? We can talk outside so lets go.' Zoya said with a smile.
'But Zoya. . . .' Dilshad was going to say something when she interrupted.
'Puphi please. . . .actually. . . .' She paused for a second and continued. 'I don't feel comfortable when I am alone with him, he is my father I know that but I can talk to him on the phone only. I have not met him in last 15 years so its awkward for me to talk to him so I want you to be always with me.' Zoya said confusedly.
'I understand your situation Zoya, you don't need to worry. I am always with you.' Dilshad said with a smile.
'Thank You puphi.' Zoya hugged her happily.
They both came out of her room and walked to the living room. He was talking with Asad. He came near her and hugged her and she tried to smile. Asad smiled at her but she ignored him and sat on the couch.
'Ami, I have to go somewhere.' Asad said and stood up. He knew what they were going to talk so he thought he should go.
'Ok. Be back soon.' Dilshad didn't stop him and he walked out of the house with hope that she won't say no to them.
'How are you now ?' He asked Zoya.
'Much better.' She said with a smile.
'I was worried about you when I heard about your accident but now I am relaxed.' He said but she wasn't having any words to answer him on that or maybe she didn't want to answer him.
'I know you think that I don't care about you but if you try to understand my situation than you can see how much I love you.' He said while looking at her.
'I understand.' She said with a smile. She never wanted him to give any explanation, she always wanted him but now it was too late.
'I want you to get married now.' He came to the point.
'Why ?' She was confused at his sudden demand.
'You have to marry one day then why not now ?' He asked her and she was confused at what should she say. She wasn't ready to marry Asad but she wasn't ready to marry anyone else too.
'I don't want to get married.' She said in low voice.
'But Dilshad told me that you want to marry Asad ?' He asked her confusedly. She was shocked at first and looked at Dilshad who was quiet all this while.
'Have you even asked him puphi ?' She asked her but after that she understood why Asad was forcing her to marry on the coming Friday. Is he just helping me ? Or he really loves me ?Allah Miyaan ! Please help. She laid back on the couch while Dilshad smiled at her.
