you are right ruchi...but just think...racism or class difference is not about only between west and east people...in india we have taken that tradition to top notch level...we do discriminate on the basis of colur,cast,class etc,,,,why should we balme west people when they call indian backward or give some mean comments...dont we indians do with other indians...north indian comment on south indians.west indian comment on north eastern ...i am just giving example...i have countless to give...but i just want to say...accept the flaws and try to rectify them ...we can hide behind the good what our ancestors or history did...and keep saying we are mahan and blah balh...but we need to keep that goodness alive ...

Word di...we do discriminate a lot infact indians are very racists...people are generalized by almost everyone

i do agree that we should stop hiding our flaws behind our culture and always say that "we are fine as far as we have the best culture" we need to get rid of this argument and start working on our flaws...we need to relaize that no culture is perfect and each should be respected

Yes you are right Suju and if people like you, me, Anu, Shru, Ne, Rivs and all will not come out and acknowledge this fact and implement it on ourselves then who will... And see we all are doing it we a recognising this Suju though different in POV's we all have learnt many lesson today from governance to humanity. Unity in Diversity. And most importantly recognising someone's fault and still choosing that person based on its potential😊

And If let people around accompany us in our debate and then are we then not contributing to a change here and now and see we have taken the steps already... Trust me take this spirit and days of social and economical upheaval will not be far.😃

I know what you mean by that her one slip from pedestal. Come on even a journalist is allowed to have some fun but really I worship the ground Mr. Vir Sanghvi walks on. And Bachi Kakaria is damn good at writing political and social satires.

@ Anu- that was my research, my mind and my language talking there 😡😆 I don't take a stand from her. I merely learned how to put forward a point from there. 😛
