AutoCAD?! Aapne dil khush kar diya!! You know I'm in IT now, right? I actually have a degree in Civil Engg and used AutoCAD years ago. Then learnt AutoLisp and finally moved on to programming! So, I am very happy that my mall is being built using technology!! 😆

I knew my bachha would love the use of technology! After all she's my baby!! 😆 Loved this dialogue:

"Miss Zoya, like I said, I've worked with you guys before, and knowing how things worked here... I really wasn't sure if this company was going to be able to handle such a big project. But now, after watching this presentation and realizing how far you've come in finally embracing technology, I'm more than happy to give the contract to Dilshaad Constructions. I was going to tell you how impressed I am with the drawings," Narges finally concluded, her face breaking into a warm smile as Zoya's eyes widened. She squealed softly and grabbed Asad's arm in excitement, as Asad continued staring at Narges in shock.

Thanks to Zoya's innovative ideas, Asad got the contract! Well done Zoya!! Well done Green!!

"Tuesday would be perfect. My mother will be leaving town for a month thereafter, so Tuesday would be the latest she can come and see the model for herself. After all, you and I both have to prove to her that her judgment about Dilshaad Constructions was wrong," Narges said laughingly, as she patted Asad gently on his arm. Asad joined the laughter politely, making Zoya slightly unhappy, for reasons she couldn't place.

Of course! Zoya will bring Asad and his IT guys out of the stone ages!!

Zoya is slightly bitten by the green eyed monster!! She doesn't like my bachha being "comfortable" with "Asad"! Very nice! That's the route to realization! I hope to see a jealous Asad soon. 😉Hope there are some other hunks in the office! 😉

Asad and Zoya's conversation in his office was cute!! I felt both needed to apologize to each other. Asad was correct: Zoya was absolutely wrong to use her program without consulting anyone! Asad was also wrong to threaten to hurt her if they lost the deal! At least thank you toh kaha! 😆

Asad wants Zoya's resume?!

"Of course, mere iPad mein... nahi hai! Mere iPad mein kuch bhi nahi hai!" Zoya began to say as she picked up her iPad from the edge of Asad's desk and scrolled through it, before pausing and changing her mind in a strange way, clutching her iPad to her chest."

Hmm, what's on Zoya's iPad that made her change her mind? Why do I feel there's something on her resume that she doesn't want him to see! Guess will have to wait for the next update to find out!!

The presentation was a hit...Cool...I was kinda getting cramped in the crossed positions😆

Was that Ms Fakri getting a bit forward with zoya's asad???😡 I'm thinking zoya's green eyed monster is about to rear it's head😆 I'm also thinking that maybe she has some pictures of asad on her Ipad thats why she took it away...We all know she secretly likes to stare at him (Mitwa...)😆

Yes, I'm in IT. That's why I was requesting for Asad to move Zoya into IT. Nah, don't worry! It's not my style to point out technical issues. Just because I'm in IT doesn't mean I know it all!! 😉 Also, there is such a thing as creative liberty! Go for it!!

"Miss Farooqui, don't be childish and show me your resume," Asad insisted, as he took a step forward towards Zoya. It really wasn't about Zoya being childish anymore, Asad just really wanted to know what Zoya was hiding. Zoya cowered and gripped her iPad a little tighter, as she backed up against the wall next to the sofa to avoid Asad. Asad walked up to her and stood directly in front of her, crossing his arms across his chest as he frowned at her. Zoya fidgeted uncomfortably under his gaze.

"Miss Farooqui, stop moving. There seems to be something on the wall near your head... a cockroach, maybe?" Asad informed Zoya, as he pointed somewhere vaguely near her shoulder. Zoya's eyes widened in alarm as she flailed her arms and screamed, clambering on top of the sofa. Asad moved swiftly to take advantage of her lack of concentration and pull the iPad out of her hand, since her grip loosened considerably during the mini panic attack.

"MR KHAN! NAHI!" Zoya screamed as Asad quickly walked away from the frazzled Zoya, trying to see what was on her iPad screen. She nearly tripped over her own legs as she scurried off the sofa to catch up with Asad. As soon as she reached him, he quickly stretched his arm up above Zoya's head, in an attempt to make the iPad out of her reach. Zoya huffed loudly as she grabbed Asad's arm with both her hands, trying to lower it, but her strength was no match for his.

"Miss Farooqui, all I could catch was the header, and it is indeed your resume. So why did you lie? What are you hiding? As your employer, I have full rights to know what's in your resume and I will read it. Let go of my arm... I said let go! You know you won't able to pull my arm down, so let go. Or maybe you just enjoy holding my arm?" Asad teased, his last statement finally getting Zoya's attention, as she pulled her hands away like they were on fire. She glared at him as he pointed at a chair, silently indicating that she take a seat. Defeated, she sat down, as Asad walked towards his own chair across the desk. He leaned back and began to read the resume out loud just to annoy Zoya.

"Graduated with a double degree in computer engineering and business administration from New York University," Asad read out as he got to the education bit of her resume, unable to keep how impressed he was out of his voice. He looked up briefly, just to see Zoya throw him a wan smile. He turned back to the iPad, scanning it to find the next interesting thing to read out.

"Selected for Google Summer of Code 2011, completed course with high recommendations from mentors, followed by an internship at Google in the summer of 2012," Asad continued as he looked up again, to see Zoya nodding in agreement. He frowned in response. The resume looked pretty good so far. In fact, it was bloody impressive. What was she trying to hide? He shook his head as he scrolled down further to read the next bit.

"Created successful app called 'Whatcha Say' for Blackberry, Android and Apple devices and sold it to Google. 'Whatcha Say' is an app that allows users to set voice-enabled passwords to lock their device. However, unlike other such apps in the market, 'Whatcha Say' allows the user to protect his or her voice-enabled password with yet another voice recording done before the setting of the voice-enabled password..." Asad read, trailing off as he suddenly found the description vaguely familiar. He looked up again, to find Zoya biting her lower lip sheepishly, refusing to make eye contact with him. And then it struck him.

"Miss Farooqui, YOU made that app?!" Asad gasped out, more than yelling it out like he wanted to. Zoya continued to smile uncertainly, shrugging slightly. She started to worry a little when his initial shock started fading away and his eyebrows began to furrow.

"Dekha! This... expression of yours! That's the reason I was trying to hide my resume. I wanted to delete that bit before showing you the rest of my resume just to avoid having to face that expression. Because I know which expression follows after that one, it's the one where your eyes begin to blaze in anger before you grab me and hold me against you..." Zoya rambled, trailing off only when she realized her little speech was beginning to head in another direction altogether.

Asad controlled the movements of his lips, which were dying to lift at the sides. He slowly got up from his chair and walked over from his side, all the way till he was standing right next to Zoya's chair. He grabbed the back of her chair and turned it towards himself, before bending and resting his palms on the handles of the chair, leaning in to level his face with Zoya's. He watched in amusement as Zoya gulped nervously.

"Unbelievable. Tell me, how did you even manage to download the app and enable the password in that short span of time?" Asad asked in a husky whisper, making Zoya close her eyes as his breath washed over her face.

"Woh... main... um," Zoya tried to verbalize her thoughts, but she found herself unable to say anything without fumbling. She noticed the hint of a smirk on Asad's face and realized then that he was trying to make her nervous on purpose. She pressed her palms against Asad's shoulders as she tried to push him away, standing up from her chair in the process. She intended to remove her hands from his shoulders right after that, but found herself unable to with Asad snaking his fingers around her wrists, holding her in place.

"What I mean to say is that woh mera secret hai. Yehi maan lo ke mera haathon ka jadoo hai," Zoya replied cheekily, her eyes trailing down to her hands as she spoke. Asad stared casually at her hands resting on his shoulders as well, but made no attempt to loosen the grip on her wrists.

"Jadoo toh hai hi... That's why Vijay was unable to figure out how to solve the problem," Asad suddenly said, changing the tone of the conversation just as Zoya was beginning to enjoy it. She rolled her eyes. This man was ridiculously unpredictable.

"Ab yeh Vijay kaun hai?" Zoya grumbled, irritated that he'd burst the bubble. But she noted that he hadn't let go of her wrists, so her hands were still resting on his shoulders. She snaked her hands down a little, allowing her palms to press gently against his chest, as she bent her elbows and took a step forward. Zoya smiled knowingly when Asad made no attempt to move away. There was hope after all.

"I'm Vijay!" Asad and Zoya heard a voice announce from the cabin door, as they both turned towards the source of the voice at the same time. A well-built young man stood at the door, his fists clenched, unhappiness written all over his face. Zoya looked him up and down, trying to put two and two together herself. So this was the IT guy, huh?
