Cyclone Phailin

Our prayers are with our friends of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh and all the neighbouring states which are going to be affected by Cyclone Phailin.

Oh God, please be merciful and protect your children!

Cyclone is heading towards the coastal areas of Gopalpur and Vishakhapatnam at the speed of 220 km/ hour. For almost 6 hours, it is expected that the Cyclone will not pass. 4 lakh people have been evacuated. Their livelihood will be adversely affected after the Cyclone has passed...May God Bless them.

Be safe Sowmya...Insha allah the cyclone will pass without causing any major damage...may all the people who are facing this danger be safe. It's great to know that many people have been evacuated but how difficult it must have been for them to leave their homes, their cities with the uncertainity of what they will return to :(
