When Ayaans holding the glass towards her its obvious that she's hoping its Asad. The way she looks up, hopefully only to realise that its Ayaan and not Asad. I like how she's not talking to Ayaan properly and being very formal with him and how she was reading namaaz and no doubt praying for Asad and then at that exact moment Asads letter and the things Asad sent arrive. In the letter it says he's sent the things she can't live without and I think its a symbolism, she also can't live without Asad and one day her prayers will be answered and he too will come to her.
