This is not the first time they messed up with Asad's room. Earlier when there was a scene where Asad and Zoya were watching moon from window, they moved the couch a bit upwards as it was right against the window and the move was to accommodate space so that Asad and Zoya can stand in front of the window and get view of the moon. However, that was still okay as they didnt remove the furniture all together.

I guess Asad's bedroom furniture was removed to make space for dance steps but as you rightly said that looks contrived and don't look like his room atall except for that famous window.

you ppl are never satisfied ! what difference does it make if the bed is there or not ? maybe they wanted the place too look airy and open ! looking at ayra - I feel its too cluttered !
