As a writer, one has to be in the right mood and have the right inspiration to write any kind of piece of work. As a reader, one has to be in the right mood to read any kind of story.
I always make sure to be free of any kind of work (cleaning, working, homework etc etc), I make sure to have plenty of time to dedicate and focus my time entirely to your FF. In short, I make sure to be in the right mood and ambiance.
Chapter 31 - Part A (Asad's house)
"Yeh mera beta nahin hai. Ek baar yeh bhi nahin poocha ki ammi aapki tabiyat kaisi hai? Aapka cancer ab theek ho gaya kya?" (Very touching line for a mother who has not seen her son for five long years and finally he is back, but all the pain has made him forget to ask about his mother health)
"aur mere bte ko wapas bheja hi hai tho usey uski khushiyaan bhi wapas lauta dena." (Ek maa ke dua hamesha poori ho jati hain)
Zoya's house
This was just amazingly well written. Like a true gentleman, Asad hesitated to go upstairs because he knew that would be wrong. The moment he recalled their conversation of five years ago, my eyes began to moisten. Along with Mr. Khan, I also went back to that very cute and romantic moment.
Farhan was the only one who brought a cheer to his face. (This little bunch of joy brought a huge smile on my face as well) 😃
Each word she had uttered on the phone sounded like music to his ears. (How happy he must have been from the inside)
lekin kya aapke Mr. Khan ko bhi nahin hai? (Nice, very nice)
"after all a runaway spoilt NRI brat from New York would fit that bill for you, haina Mr. Khan? Ek nahin tho doosra Khan hi sahi. It's always been about my last name- Farooqui, Siddiqui and now Mrs. Ayaan Khan!" She taunted him, "why is it never about Zoya?" (Loved it. Zoya was bang on and all her frustrations came out. Especially, the last line. She had said this before and now again)
Kya aapko ek baar bhi-ek baar bhi mujhey dekh kar khushi nahin huyi Mr. Khan? Kya aapko ek baar bhi aisa nahin laga ki mere saamne jo ladki khadi hai usey main apni baahon mein bhar loon? Kya aapko ek baar bhi aisa mehsoos nahin hua ki in paanch saalon mein kya beeti hogi is ladki par?" (If the above was her frustration then this is her pain. Beautiful and very emotional)
How I wanted to him to pull her into a hug in that last scene, but I guess I will have to wait for 😉
Chapter 31 - Part B (Park scene)
"buddy, if you can succeed, I think I have some hope too. (Alright Mr. Khan, that's the spirit)
The scene between Farhan and Asad was too cute and adorable. I had to laugh when he said those two lines taught by Asad 😆 how I love the kid. 😳 The innocence of a child is a very beautiful way to bring two love birds together.
Zoya's house
This scene was really unexpected. Didn't except them to melt down so soon, but I am not complaining at all!
I could imagine myself running to the freezer for some very yummy ice-cream, just like Farhan 😆 Bechara Asad, was all happy he taught Farhan some nice new words but the little fellow messed it all up and the result was there: Zoya gave Asad a piercing glance.
A very cute and light scene 😊
Is promise ko poora karne ke liye, main wahan dushman se ladhta raha, na umeedi se ladhta raha, sirf iss liye ki main tumhein yeh kahe bina marnaa nahin chaahta tha. Zoya, I love you. I have always loved you. (This was beautiful. Finally he said it and let it all out. Very nice to bring the promise made to Arjun back. Asad is indeed a true friend)
Main hamesha hamare beech faasle dekhta raha lekin yeh nahin samjha ki sabse badha faasla mere khud ke dil aur dimaag ke beech tha. " (Thank you Mr. Khan for recognizing and understanding your feelings)
''Us har aansoo ko main sajda karna chaahta hoon."
"us har saans ko jo tumne meri yaad mein li, usey sajda karna chaahta hoon."
"Paanch saal pehle in hothon ko apna banaa liya tha, ab wo haq mujhey phir wapas de do Zoya." (These are one of the most romantic moments I have ever read. This is romance on another level. With this, you have proved Di that for romancing there is no need for a strong physical touch. Sometimes words can do and let make you feel so much more)
I am not sad that Farhan 'ruined' their romantic moment. I can't get angry at the little boy, he has done too many good things for Asad and Zoya.
"Yeh kisi boyfriend ke liye tho nahin khareedi thi?" (Arre wah wah, poorana Asad is coming back dheere dheere)
Chapter 31 - Part C (Zoya's house)
Confessing his feelings was the best thing he had done in years. (Even I was relieved. Brownie points for you, Mr. Khan)
"I know I am not as creative as you, but this painted ring is proof of my proposal." (The thought behind this not-so-creative idea means so much more. Very unique and innovative)
Mera wajood aur meri zindagi. (This song came instantly in my mind: Kyunki tum hi ho, zindagi ab tum hi ho)
"I can't wait to be back'' (And I can't wait for the next update to read how this scene continues)
and then whispered, "ammi loves Mr. Khan." (Can she please whisper this into Mr. Khan's ear, the next time?)
The rain that had felt like fire the previous night came down as a soothing blessing tonight. (Love the way how you use the rain as a symbol for their love and pain. What a creativity Di)
You have a tremendous language knowledge be it in English or Hindi. You know when and what to write in which language in a particular scene, which I love about you. That is exactly the reason why I always give my comments by using your dialogues.
This whole chapter was Sangi-licious (a new word): AsYa-licious in true Sangeeta Di style.
Only, and only AsYa. A very nice and shubh way to start this new thread. I totally enjoyed reading it. It was like watching this in the show itself. I am sure it can get only better. Not a single time have you let me down and by giving us this chapter, you have surpassed your own creativity and talent. 👏
