Holla Darlings! My 2nd OS. Call me a maniac, but I can keep writing them if I get to.
This is my take of what could have happened in the hospital, when Dilshad was shot. Asad doesn't slap Zoya, but this isn't a fluff.
Disclaimer - I own nothing. If I did, this would have happened.

Asad - Why did you bring Maryam back???
He roared.
Saying Zoya was scared would be and understatement of the year. She was terrified. She had never ment this to happen. Dilshad was like a mother too. And now, because of her, Her phuphi was in this state. That thought alone made her burst into uncontrollable sobs, kneeling on the floor.
Asad's eyes softened seeing her in this state. Of course she wouldn't want this to happen. She loved Dilshad like her mother. No. He wouldn't blame her, he would comfort her.
He sat beside her and took her into a bone-crushing hug. That made Zoya cry more, if it was possible.
Zoya - I ... a-am so-so-sorry As-Asad. I *hiccup* never wa-wanted this to happen. Phu-phuphi is like a mo-mother to me. Ple-please believe m-me.
She cried in between sobs.
He cupped her face in his hands and said,
Asad - (Softly) I know you never wanted this to happen. It's not your fault. Okay? Don't cry now. We need to be strong.
He kissed her forehead and Zoya put her head on his chest. They stayed in this position for a few minutes, doing nothing but listening to each other's heartbeats, when Najma came.
Najma - Bhaijaan! Zoya! What happened? How did this happen? When did this happen? And why do I have to hear it from the news that ammi was shot?!?!
It dawned Zoya that in all the commotion, no one had informed Najma. All she could do was take her in a sisterly hug. Najma hugged Zoya tighter, and sobbing a lot.
'How can she comfort people when she is broken' Asad thought, while staring at the two bffs who were in each other's embraces, crying their heart out.
Najma - Bhaijaan you alright?
'Look at the irony of the situation' Najma thought as she looked at these two people. She wanted to be angry at them for not informing her, but couldn't do so. May it be out of exhaustion, or love for these two people, but when her bhaijaan put his hands forward, she couldn't help but crash into his embrace.
Najma - Bhaijaan? Am-ammi will b-be alri-alright na?
Asad - Yes *stroking her hair*. Yes, she will be alright.
Zoya was left staring at the brother-sister duo. How she wished that time, that she had a sibling. Her thoughts were interrupted by...
Doctor - Is this Dilshad Ahmed Khan's family?
Asad - Yes this is. Is my ammi alright?
This was the moment they had waited or dreaded.
