When i went to India i saw childrens who worked on the heat all day for few ruppias i hav nothing against THIS SALARY in particular please dont feel insecure about KSG but it show all the inagality issues unfortunetly. Its like the only peoples who ar very rich in this country ar the governement members, actors, singers, designers nd buisness man. after tht its the middle class 😕

i read an article an year back before QH started. there are so many people earning more than this.

smrithi irani used to get 1 lakh in "kyounki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi" and after few years it's increased to 2 lakhs. when she demanded 3 lakhs then ekta replaced her with someother actress.
swetha tiwari is paid 1 lakh during kasauti.
sakhi tanwar and ram kapoor still getting 1 lakh.

for young actors this is the pay

1-karan wahi- 35k
2-jennifer winget-30k
3-drashti dhani-30k
4-sanaya irani-25k
5-barun sobti-25k
6-kritiks kamra-25k
7-sara khan-25k
8-vivian dsena-25k
9-karan kundra-22k
10-rati pandey-20k

KSG was paid 35k to 40k during DMG days.

Being an actor might not be difficult but look at all the qualifications and all the requirements. It's sad that those children get paid such less amount. They should at least get minimum wage but that has nothing to with actor's salary. And why would I be insecure about KSG?

And all these social issues are altogether another matter. They have nothing to do with actor's salary. Actors get paid according to their qualification. & All the positions you mentioned get paid high salary in all the countries not just India. It's the position and experience that matters!

@Marysa - Acting is not easy as it looks and it has a time stamp on it which is why they get paid a lot.

This pay structure is true for any industry anywhere in the world. People get paid for their own work, dedication, seniority and the number of hours they put in. For instance, at work, not everybody on my team gets paid the same. Salaries are decided on experience and talent and it is no different for the film industry. A spot boys job is no less or more great than anybody else job and he will get paid in accordance to his work just like the rest of us.
