Redemption, Realization and Revelations

I was the first one to pan yesterday's episode but today was brilliantly executed. The story has finally moved...and guess what it moved with some logic. Today was all about the three Rs. Zoya's realization, Tanveer's revelation and Asad and Ayaan's respective redemption's. How neatly the story has come together.

Today probably will go down as the day Ayaan begins to fall for Humeira (Rajni). This is Ayaan's redemption track. Humeira has suffered a trauma that has made her create a new identity. No one in the Siddiqui household is aware what this trauma could be but it is only Ayaan and Nikhat who make the effort to treat Rajni the same way they would Humeira. In fact Ayaan treats Rajni with more care. Humeira, even as Rajni, instinctively trusts Ayaan. Just like Zoya believes Asad is her shield and protector Humeira in her dissociative state knows who to trust and who will protect her. I loved the subtle acknowledgment of this. What was truly great about AyRa's scenes was Ayaan thinking back on how he suffered and worried for her when she was missing as Rajni was talking and wondering about Vikram Shukla's despair to find her. Though filmy, the fact that Rajni has now asked Ayaan to bring her the mangalsutra and sindoor, she has marked herself as Ayaan's unknowingly. This is his mangalsutra to her.

Zoya on the other hand has finally started thinking in Ajmer. I love that she figured the scene out all on her own. It was also great to see that Tanveer had indeed been left in Bhopal and she has a very logical reason to land in Ajmer. The SBS scene of Asad and Tanveer now makes sense. Asad probably sees her at the airport and comes back to the hotel with her. The chaddar could be the pretext. This is also the start of Tanveer's revelation and Asad's redemption from a crime he would never and could never commit!

Dilshaad and Razia - What a stand out scene. Razia gloating so horrendously at Dilshaad tells me that Asad and Zoya are going to make Dilshaad very happy...soon. What a classy lady - she put Razia in her place quite effectively and guess what Razia's children are already feeling the brunt of her sins.

All in all a good way to end the week. I am now excited to see what else happens in Ajmer.

I AGREE I didn't expect Asad and Zoya to be in the episode in one frame today, and so I really did like the episode because the story moved, Tanveer's revelation has begun and I honestly don't mind it to be gradual, she has given too much pain and trouble to the Khan family to be let off in one go..Loved the beginning of Ayan's realization of his love or feelings for Humaira.

The epi was way better than yesterday man..I loved the Ayaan-Humeira scene..Humeira talking fondly about her hubby and Ayaan relating it to their own situation was really well done..Zoya finally figured out the truth..It din take much for her to be convinced that Mr.Khan is innocent..Its almost like she was waiting for something which could prove her wrong..It was kinda obvious that the cat was gonna hear the message..The precap was howlarious man😆 And yeah, Dilshad rocked..I loved the fact that she she din silently listen to what was thrown at her though her son was supposedly at fault..Here is hoping we are done with Tannu in real quick time😆

And I totally agree on your title for the topic, the journey of evil versus good has begun, we might think it is slow and painfully long but honestly when the evil was in the upper hand for so long, it shouldn't be let off so easily either :) I am excited.

I don't mind a gradual reveal as long as the story is moving and we are moving towards that. Tanveer is getting desperate and in her desperation she is now going to start making very obvious mistakes. Her worst mistake was the revelation of Zoe's father being alive which we will see soon. She has sealed her own fate with that one little trick.

@bold - I loved it too. I think Vikrant and Ketki have fantastic chemistry and I wouldn't mind seeing some "mitwa" moments between them too.

I really really enjoyed AyRa today.. Ketki was very good.. Dilshad-Razia scene was also good.. Shirin chose to keep quiet which went with her character.. She is not bad lady, she has her insecurities but se is not happy that Asad's marriage is cancelled..

I think this the start of good winning over evil. Tanveer will still play her tricks but she will begin to lose...and it might just cost her the entire game.

The precap made me spit out my water. SJ is taking some lessons from Keanu Reeves I see. 😆

I adored the AyRa scene. I love we are finally getting a set-up for our second OTP.

I agree with you. It indeed was a well done episode. I missed Asad in this one. But the story certainly is moving forward. I really hope you're right about Ayaan finally starting to fall for Humeira. I hope it's not just his guilt that's drawing him to her. But maybe it'll turn from guilt to care, to love. And I love that Nikhat is standing up for her infront of Razia.
