I am a "newbie" but have been unable to resist joining this forum and taking part in the dialogues of the past week. The credit for this really goes to this phenomenon known as "Qubool Hai" or to be more accurate "AsYa". This is the first Indian drama that I have been able to tolerate watching. The acting is not OTT (over the top), the women are not dressed OTT, their dialogues are not OTT but the chemistry between the leads is beyond anything I have seen (even in English shows) and is definitely OTT … just the way it should be!

I know that a lot of people are upset about the fact that the wedding didn't happen but I have to say that (in my opinion) this is entertainment and storytelling at its best. I can't remember the last time that I was pulled into a story like this and felt the impact of fictional character so strongly. I am heartbroken for Zoya, outraged and devastated for Asad, and the mother in me wants to console Dilshad and restore her faith in her son. I have to keep reminding myself that I am an intelligent adult and these characters are only reel … but my heart feels like it is all too real and is having a hard time letting it go. For me, that is rare indeed!

I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster ride … I literally feel sick to my stomach but don't want to get off … in fact I'll be first in line to do it all again! (cannot wait for the upcoming location shots).

And the acting …what can I say that hasn't already been said? Phenomenal, outstanding, beyond compare are a few things that come to mind. Hats off Karan, Surbhi, PH, CVs ... you've succeeded in making me a fan!
