Asad stood there quietly listening to all this! Betrayal! Her dad had also betrayed her mom! He was mad! He couldn't believe that someone would leave such a cute daughter like Zoya behind! Did he just say cute? She isn't cute! She's beautiful!!! She's an angel!
An angel that came into his life and changed his life for ever! He realized that all this time, he wasn't looking for an answer, he already had the answer, he was just in denial, because it seemed like the easiest thing to do! But no more!
He is going to face the fact that he loves Zoya head on and take care Zoya when she really needs him. As if he had heard Asad's inner monologue, Shehry came up to him and said, it's now or never mate! It's time to prove yourself to the best friend how well you can take care my Zoya! Let's see if your worthy of her!
Asad opened his mouth to say something when Shehry said, "Uh-uh !

He got to her in time n caught her! "Zoya! Zoya! " she had barely opened her eyes to see him when the tears and pain came back to her, and she stared yelling!
"Mr. Khan! How could he do that to Ammi! That heartless bas***d! How could he do this!? He burnt my Ammi alive!!! I'm gonna kill that bas***d!! Mr. Khan! Mr. Khan'.."
And she fainted in his arm! He kept her in his arms for a while until he calmed himself and stopped his own tears! After all the crying, Zoya had seemed to calmed down so Asad asked her, "Zoya, app thik to hai?" "Patta nahi Asad, ki kya humme Ammi aur apne liye dukhi hona chahiye ya phir uss insaan pe gussa hona chahiye Jisse ne Hamara sab kuch chin liya!"
"Aap ko patta hai Zoya jab Janaab Rashid Ahmed Khan Ammi ko chod kar chale Gaye the to mujhe Ammi bohot mushkil se bapis Le kar ayyi thi aur tub se Lakar app ke samjhane tak Maine sirf unse nafrat ki hai! Aur gussa sirf uss future ko kharab kardeta hai aur aap ka gussa bhi us insaan ke kabil nahi hai! You don't worry! Zoya hugged Asad and whispered while crying, and if she hadn't been so close to his ear, he would have missed what that whisper carried!
