let her wear it inside the house when she is married to Asad that would be totally fine 😊

some people are saying it's freedom to decide what to wear

freedom doesn't mean to be degraded from modesty .

I mean to say the truth I'm from a country that doesn't accept these kind of clothing but lived my life in the US but I don't wear short things that show my body and I don't have to. It's in my religion but it's my choice to decide if I will wear something like that or not. I choose to not.

PS: I just went for a visit to my country and was wearing covered clothes and was shopping and I swear I just felt so uncomfortable from the stares of guys that were there 😕

so imagine me wearing a short skirt and going shopping oh god I can't even imagine that 🤢

👍🏼
I am with u , places when u live doesnt change ur principles and ur way of living
There are Many people lives in us and never wore this type of clothes
And there are Many in india and they wore it
About what zoya was doing
If she wear it for fun with najma i dont find it at all wrong ,all girls made fun and wore what they were with each other
But if zoya in newyork was used to wear this type of clothes i think asad is right to tell her That she is misfit for him
Because he is a man who insist about tahzeeb he doesnt want a girl who wore this clothes infront of everybody if its inside ok cool but if she wore it outside so he Has the right to not Like it
Freedom is not wearing short skirt
And at least she should respect him , she should cover herself before confronting him
And then defend herself

yeah
I have lived outside my country and have never been to it only now I'm here for a visit but I still value my religion and culture
and about Zoya yeah if she wore it for fun because of Najma then it's fine
but if she wore it just to show that she doesn't care and she is a modern girl then I think she deserves to be yelled at by Asad
oh how I wish people would understand the true meaning of FREEDOM

I am pretty sure it is more of a positive thing in the episode than negative--Bevause Zoya confronted him after he gave his lecture..and then he will grill chicken for his wifey lol...people are fussing over her skirt for no reason..CVs are definitely gonna make a positive point here!!! Looking forward to that!

I HAVE THE SAME OPINION...

In SBS it shown they talked more other than accusing themselves...zoya is explaining something very sadly and asad tried,to hold hands ...as usual Assad regrets and cooks her something...as once said to win someone's heart u need to cook for them...

Cvs are showing this to clear the differences in them and bring them closer...

Ok, I don't understand why people are dragging the Muslim and Non-Muslim deal into all of this, I'm an American Muslimah and I do wear skirts at MY house, the key word here is MY, however Zoya isn't in her house, Why a girl would wear a skirt so short at someone else's house is just beyond my understanding especially when you know such clothing is not appreciated in the house you're staying at. It's not about religion, it's about common sense and the track as of now is really lacking it.

first of all,i totally disagree with the fact that TAHZEEB has nothing to do with your clothes...YES,mentality is more important but that doesn't mean that u'r dressing style doesn't matter at all...

okay,it is good that u have a lot of respect in u'r mind for others ...but if u wear something eye-catching for which guys are provoked to look at u or that doesn't go well with a particular circumstance that is also not a sense of good TAHZEEB i think...

p.s. that was absolutely my point of view and didn't intend to hurt anyone...

Cvs are showing reality--Zoya is a Muslim girl but we can't overlook the fact that she is not a middle eastern girl but an American citizen!
Also, Adam and Eve were naked--they realized their nakedness only after they gave into sin-- it's was their shame that made them wanna cover themselves--and that's why we all cover up now because of the sin in the world--no purity in hearts of people so we can't walk around without clothes but God's original plan wasn't clothes! I have never read in any faith book about God giving clothes to Adam and Eve!
I am not a Muslim but I have a lot of muslim friends. I was raised in the US and now living in Canada. Zoya is just like any other Muslim girl who is raised in the west--respecting values and her religion but you can't forget the fact that she's an American citizen--She is a Muslim but she is raised in New York..and honestly I don't find anything wrong with skirts! Clothes do matter but Zoya isn't dressed like a hoochie girl--she looks fine! and she respects her Indian culture and doesn't wear short stuff in India..she only wore it because Najma asked her! + don't get me started on what happens behind the burkas..I know it all!!! Razia and Tanu cover their heads..do I need to say anything else?

I think it's wrong to assume all Muslim american girls wear skirts. I live in Canada and know a lot of muslim girls who will not wear skirts simply because of the environment especially not practicing muslim girls. Nothing wrong with wearing jeans but I think it's wrong to excuse Zoya for wearing a skirt simply because she was raised in New York. We have seen Zoya pray and be a cultured/modern girl who wears what she wants keeping her religion and culture in mind. Now the CVs have jumped to her wearing a skirt (although we don't know the context of this so I don't think we should be making assumptions) but I think this behaviour is out of character for Zoya and definitely out of line with the Muslim backdrop. Not all those who cover are right either like you mentioned but I think it is not necessary to make that point by going this far. Zoya being open minded and modern to the extent that we have seen was reasonable maybe this is going to be okay as well as long as it is not blown out of proportion mixing American culture with the Islam.

What are your thoughts on pre-marital sex or just making out before getting married? Particularly between Asad and Zoya?

And does Zoya's back less cholis qualify as acceptable to you?

And what do you think about Zoya not refraining from entering Asad's room even after seeing him shirtless.

And what about them being intoxicated and not asking for forgiveness from Allah even if they did that by mistake?

Do you think Dilshaad and Appi are a good 'Muslims' to have allowed Asad to go on a date with Zoya even before they are married? Do you think they should have chaperoned Zoya better?

Is it acceptable for a woman to live in a man's house considering she's young and single?
