Hi all this is just a bakwaas poll to increase forum activity and nothing else !!!
.
.i asked this question bcoz even being a girl i do not like mehndi at all ..and i m bashed by oldy and elderly in my family for this hatred against such a thing which is supposed to hv some significance in hindu as well as muslim marriages !! ..
.
So i wanted to know is there anybody like me or i m exceptiom in this world !!

for me i just looove mehndi love it alooot
I am not indian but we have also rasm of mehndi , the bride put it in her Hand and even in foot but mehndi is not especially for bride in her nikah but we do put mehndi in some ceremony if we want.
But dont worry being a girl and hate mehndi is normal i do know Many girls dont Like mehndi

FYI mehendi is just not Hindu and Muslim culture it's also punjabi too!! And I love mehendi soo much at dirt the smell bothered me alot but after putting on for 15 years I kinda got used to mehendi and the designs are so pretty too

I like simple mehndi designs. I don't have the patience to have an elaborate design on my hand and not able to do anything, like eat lol. I actually don't mind the smell too much.

i luv the design and color but not the smell. but bearing the smell for some time is worth the results wen u wash off the mehendi and it turns out beautiful.
