Writers are same for many shows...they have only so many ideas, <font size="3">courtesy</font>, Ekta <font size="3">K</font>apoor's successful shows.
They <font size="3">religiously</font> churn them out every year with slight modifications.
Never fear!
We will still be able to predict the storyline without even thinking about it!

no i feel tha Asad is clueless about what is happening, Asad is a smart man, but he passes judgement without really knowing a person. he thinks outward apperance define who and what a person is. because tanu is his childhood friend he thinks he knows her. she behaves quite and timmed always in the back ground and because of that Asad feels she is tazeeb -e -afta girl.

i also believe that Asad has a sir Galahad complex. so he's a sucker for maidens in distress. and that is what Tanveer is potraying herself to be.

and as for telling Zoya to stay away from tanveer. i dont think he's trying to protect her. or may be he is, but i still feel that he thinks that Zoya's presence makes tanu uncomfortable. and that is exactly what Tanveer is trying to do. Zoya sees throught Tanveers act on an instinctual leves. and that is why she questions her. like she did when the doctor came to see tanveer.

and Tanveer knows that if Zoya questions her Asad will soon pick up on tanveers odd and inconsistant behaviour.

and Asad being Asad only sees Tanveer as a maiden in distress.
