Thank you Monica! I can understand where you are coming from, and it's probably more realistic because love is so forgiving and you're right after a WHILE... but that would require me to continue the ff and sideline ASYA, i'm not too sure if I would be able to do that. However, I will put up a poll on whether ppl would like to read an ff with rashid and dilshaad as the main protagonist. And then we'll see how it goes.

About the evil won, well it's kinda realistic as well you know? in this world there are so many broken relationships. BUT had i included Tanveer in this ff, I could have shown an improvement in their relationship - because then Asad would have realized that the world is not black and white, there are shades of grey as well... esp, if he really got trapped in tanu's ploys. And with that realization he would come to respect his father. I dunno, that's what I think - and I dunno if it makes sense...

Where as Gaffur and Razia, in an ff i can mold it the way i want... so I guess in my ff they just disappear.

Yes hun, you're right I did rush through it because if I carried on there would be very little of ASYA, and I experimented with the part 21 but everyone missed ASYA so i thought may be it wasn't too good of an idea. Hence the rush. And this ff doesn't have too many filler scenes because I wanted it story oriented. However my next stuff will be more filler-like because I am done exploring the story.

Dear Mrinalini, this epilogue update is dedicated to you... since you asked for it. I hope it's up to your mark 😉

Epilogue:

It had been three years since Humeira and Ayaan's nikaah. Everything was smooth. They had a son of one and Zoya and Asad had a daughter of two years. They were the light of the family, spreading joy always.

With this smooth sail, things had changed as well. Shireen had left Rashid for good; she couldn't be bound to a marriage with no love. Had she been the old Shirin, she would have stuck by. But her innocence had drained away long time back. Dilshaad and Rashid were good friends – but nothing more. Rashid found joy in this itself; at least she was still part of his life.

Zoya had helped Asad to learn that things aren't always black and white; this is how his attitude towards Rashid became more tolerant. He saw the bond his ammi shared with Rashid, and decided to just let them be. During their interactions in office, he had also learnt that Rashid wasn't a bad guy; he just lacked qualities that could have got him out of the mess he was in.

Things had changed, and yet they were the same. Asad and Zoya would still fight like Tom and Jerry but now their daughter played the role of the refree – she got good training from her dadi. Although she was just two, she was pretty efficient.

Humeira and Ayaan were quite the lovey-dovey couple. Nikhat married one of Asad's business partners. Najma had also found herself a groom – with the help of Zoya. They had a lot of convincing to do. And Nuzzhat she fell in love with Rehaan, Humeira's friend. All of them were happily married in their own worlds.

Ayaan, Humeira and Rashid shifted to the Khan Mansion since everybody had left. Badi bi passed away few months back after seeing her great-grand children, she died peacefully and with satisfaction that no one would try to break the family.

Sundays happened to be the family day, where all the girls came home with their husbands for lunch. Everyone would catch up with each other till the day ended and dusk arrived.

And life went on at it's own pace.

Officially ended now... 😆
