Thanks for pointing this out. AAK's over-reaction yesterday was illogical and his apology today was insufficient. This is what is termed as mental abuse. I am sorry if it sounds harsh, but when you look in the news and see how women are ill- treated all the over the world is it any wonder? Everywhere a young woman looks, it is the same message reinforced - at home, on TV, among friends. The message being you are a man's property to be used as he chooses!

I know this is a show and I am not supposed to take it seriously and as another member pointed out, about an earlier post, why do I pick only on this show... well frankly i don't watch much else and I cannot expect the likes of creators of "Candle and wick", or any Ekta serials to make sense. I cannot watch those shows, especially "candle and wick". I am from the South and was raised in a cosmopolitan environment, I cannot begin to understand those village stories. The MIL in the show has issues with girls studying - talk about backward. As for Ektas stories the less said the better!
Anyways coming back to the point , is Zoya only modern because she wears jeans...
If she is an independent young woman
(1) Why does a sorry and a gift pacify her so easily for all the abuse thrown at her?
(2) Why does she need to serve AAK at the dining table, he is a big boy, can he not serve himself without dropping anything?
(3) Did she not have a job in America, what happens to it now, if she is an engineer or a coder, why does she sit at home all day, solving AAK's problems?


On another note - whether it is Ms Hoshiyarpur express, Ms KKG or now Ms Farouqi why are they all MS Kultz! It was cute with Geet when Maan caught her, it was ok when ASR saved KKG, now it is downright getting boring ... Let Zoya fall once and Mr Khan be too far to save her.. He could just stand there and roll his eyes. Or better still Mr Khan falls and Zoya catches him... I know they are trying to create Mitwa moments, but I think we need a change. There can be Mitwa moments without falling...

I know I am complaining a lot, but i wish Tanu was not the evil character they made her to be.

Finally who writes Tanu's dialogues, why does she keep telling dilshad I have known Jammy from childhood, what Dilshaad does not know this...Dilshaad was not there during Jammy's childhood, that this Tanu who was missing for a few years suddenly comes along and knows more than his mother! Yikes! I guess the Ohio abduction is getting to me too much!

I guess I could stop watching altogether but if it was not for the eye candy KSG and SJ's acting.. and the news is depressing!

exactly this vamp character is boring! It would have been nice if Tanveer was sacchrine sweet as she portrays herself to be... Zoya would have had a run for her money. It would have been more interesting if Billo Rani was actually the maid!

BTW how come the AAK household has no maids at all, Asad Miya is really stingy, making his mom, sister and all the female guests do all the work... Itna paisa hai, phir bhi no maids, no driver... loosen the purse strings dear boy, you and the women in your household will be a lot happier😉

Definitely agree! Asad can be such an ass. If I were Zoya, I would have left a long time ago. Asad just keeps blaming and humiliating her over and over again, and he can barely even apologize appropriately! Zoya, if Asad wants to be Tannu's "Jammy" all his life, then let him! He has to realize what he's doing to poor Zoe. 😡

but I think we have to get into Asad's psyche to understand why he is so quick to blame her ..

I always see him being quick to bashing her and yelling, as a means to PUSH HER AWAY.. he doesn't want to get close to her because he is afraid to hurt her and the only way he is finding it easy to do that is by yelling at her and blaming her.. by pushing her away from him.. Yes its a stupid logic because he is hurting her either way.. but I think for him.. he KNOWS Zoya isnt capable of doing anything to hurt anyone, he KNOWS she is good at heart.. he just uses the chances he gets to take out his frustration out on her as a means to push her away from him.. distance himself from her.

But, when his "misunderstanding" is cleared.. he looses that chance to "fake" staying mad at her.. and apologizes and brings her back into his life.. because if knows she isnt to be blames and still remains mad.. then questions will be raised as to why is mad at her for no reason...

Idk if that makes any sense^ HAHA.. but i mean as much as i dont like him doing what he is doing.. i understand it from a psychological perspective.. i can understand his reasonings behind it. Zoya has always said, "Do you really think i can do something like this?" and Asad stays mum.. because he KNOWS she isnt capable of anything wrong.. he just uses those moments as a means to push her out of his life.. and TRY to be mad at her .. If he TRIES to be mad and HATE her.. then he might not be conflicted and constricted by his romantic feelings for her anymore...

Recent stuff explains this. When Zoya came home after Humeira mishap.. Asad used it as a means to send Zoya away from him.. send her to NY. He knew she didnt do it on purpose... but when Ammi confronted him about it.. he lost that oppurtunity to be under a "misunderstanding" .. and that combined with his feelings for her.. and knowing she was leaving him pushed im to bring her back into his life.

Tanveer blood sample thing: He even said that you dont do it on purpose but you still make these mistakes.. when he was yelling at her .. he was sayng she is a musibaat.. I felt like the whole reason for that was just to push her away to try to hurt her. He knew she wasn't capable of doing something on purpose but the fear of their relationship becoming stronger and stronger day by day because of the wedding may have pushed him to purse that "misunderstanding".. again Ammi and Zoya confronted him about it.. and he lost his chance to remain "mad" at her.. so he HAD to apologize and bring her back in his life..

Its very COMPLICATED.. i think its a matter of getting into ASAD's psyche.. to make sense of all this.. he is a VERY complicated and COMPLEX character.. Its easy to blame him.. but knowing what the guy has been through, his insecurities, his mindset, thinking-process, personality... it all makes sense.

I completely agree with you. From the perspective of a FAN of the show .. i HATE his guts at times. He is SOO IRRITATING. His denial mode, constant rudeness, harshness, its all gut-wrenchingly ANNOYING. and I often critique that about him when i make a daily post 😆 .. I stand by that from the perspective of a FAN. 😳

agree with you, they should just separate, Asad does not deserve Zoya, she needs someone who will trust her
