The Omnipresent: This member is on the forum 25/8. You may never create a thread without expecting a response from this person within the first 57 seconds of it's inception. This person will always find something to say. This person may also have a tendency to indiscriminately like all posts she lays her eyes upon- the exception might be posts by The Trouble Stirrer.
The Messenger: A subtype of The Omnipresent. Never has an article been published that has escaped her eyes for more than 23 seconds from its time from publication. Never will a photo be posted that she will not only see but also share within 25 seconds of publication. After IF-QH, facebook and forum32 are her other homes. The refresh button on the internet browser is her favorite and when her hand tires of assaulting the mouse, she will work her finger tips to death assaulting F5 on the keyboard.
The Authentic Fangirl: By definition is a she. Her excitement levels can reach amazing magnitudes. In short, she is a tsunami to reckon with. She can be recognized on the forum by her posts- more emoticons than words in a post, a peculiar ability to typ lyk dis during times of excitement and/or a low threshold for squealing are some of her characteristics. She might even have a tendency to knock around objects in her vicinity each time she reads a romantic spoiler. If you find none of these useful, check her forum avatar to find either her OTP engaged in Mitwa or an unabashed display of 6 packs (with part of the hip bone of her object-of-affection visible). Amazingly, she has often achieved remarkable success in keeping her family members, especially her mother, in the dark about this insignificant interest of hers.
The Trouble Stirrer: May or may not be a real cajun but will pretend to be one on the surface. Has an almost innate ability to rise to instant popularity. Her threads grow faster than Asad's French beard grew in March. She is one of only two things in IF-land that have the ability to unite the forum into a force to reckon with (the other being Mitwas).
The Defender: This member is a subtype of the authentic fangril category. She is equipped with sensors that are finely tuned to the presence of The Trouble Stirrer in the forum. When stirred, she rises (even from sleep) with bedazzling passion and fury. She will rip The Trouble Stirrer into minute pieces of nothingness within nanoseconds or so she thinks..
The Non-Teenager: This is your 20 year old fellow member. She has turned 20 only one hour ago. Beware folks, for she has crossed The Teenage. She might fan girl, but it will be done with finesse. She might squeal in utter excitement, but it will be done with suave. She is now 20 and she will never be likened to the blind, romanticized , sheep-in-a-herd world of teenagers. Sometimes, however, The Non-Teenager will actually be a teenager (aka less than 20) but functionally she will be nothing like her peers for in her mind she is concinvced that she has attained accelerated maturity.
The Righteous: What's wrong is wrong. No amount of Mitwas will ever make it up to her. (She may or may not be assaulting the replay button, one can never tell).
The sage: She sees and says things with utmost diplomacy and controlled emotions. She is perceptive and calm. She settles simmering volcanoes, clashing tectonic plates, impending tsunamis, heart attacks, strokes and seizures with her word of wisdom. Without her presence, the forum would have induced apoptosis due to uncontrolled frenzy. The Authentic-Fangirl is often thankful to The Sage for her calming effect.
The Are-We-There-Yet: Another subtype of the authentic fan girl. She absolutely can not wait for Asad and Zoya to get married and have babies. In fact, if she had her way, Asad and Zoya would be great-grand parents by now. In her enthusiasm, she tends to forget that one perk of Asad becoming a great grand father so soon is loss of muscle mass (= no drool worthy abs) and a tendency to grow terminal hair on the ears while loosing hair from the crown (no one likes balding, hairy old men). The Sage often tries to make this member see sense but without much success to report.
The Guy: A rare individual on the forum. So rare that he will have to be subtyped, unfortunately, based only on his genetic make-up and not outwardly expressed characteristics: He is XY and he is special. That is all.
The Silent Sentinel Type (credit LoveAngel21 with some modification by me): This type is a silent stalker of posts. She might like a post here or make a comment there but she is usually too lazy to take active part in threads. She can, however, be awakened by any threat (real or perceived) to the forum, actors or show at which time she launches into furious action and upgrades her activity by 300% (at this point, she temporarily becomes indistinguishable from The Defender subtype). She might even create her own thread which is typically something unimaginable for this sleeping beauty. She is the sleeping dragon of the forum: Silent but potent.
