9:35 am, at Rashid's, Zoya was already ready for her potential first day at work. She didn't know what to expect, hell she didn't even know how and when she got the job. It was so sudden. She wondered how Asad Ahmed Khan's mind work, was he insane? But now, she had to tell everyone that she got a job. At the breakfast table, Shireen served Breakfast to everyone along with Nuzrat. Rashid, Ayaan and Zoya sat and ate. "Zoya, beta you are comfortable here na? If you need anything all you need to do is just say the word." Shireen said. "I'm fine, thank you Shireen Bi!" "Zoya, where are you headed to today?" Ayaan asked. "I.. um.. I got a job!" she said. That happened to take everyone by surprise. "I thought you were here for a holiday?" "No, actually I was free, and I wanted to work, so, some Asad Ahmed Khan, gave me a job!" Everyone on the table was silent. Everyone. No one said anything. Shireen noticed the tension and said, "I'll go get the parathas, Zoya, sit!" She went off. Nuzrat also went behind her mother.

"Ayaan, is the man we just got the deal with, Asad Ahmed Khan?" Rashid asked getting all worked up. "Yes abu, about that, I wanted to ask you…um…is he our…" he didn't need to say anything more. Rashid's head bent and his answer was clear. 'Asad Ahmed Khan is my brother!' Ayaan told himself. He was in shock. How could this be? He didn't want to meet him also and now he has to work with him for a month? No way. Ayaan wondered what had gone wring and why on earth did he have to work with him!

"Ayaan can you tell me where this place is?" Zoya asked showing Ayaan Asad's card. Ayaan nodded slowly. He didn't know how he would work with him knowing he was his brother. Did Asad know about them? Had Asad guessed that Ayaan was Rashid's kid? Did he know? Ayaan couldn't take his mind off all of this. Ayaan left with Zoya.

"Ayaan, what happened at the breakfast table?" Zoya asked, "If it's private, you don't have to say anything." "It's private." Ayaan said coldly. Zoya instantly looked away. She didn't know what it was but she sure knew it was something to do with her new boss. She wondered what and then it clicked. Ahmed Khan! Both have the same title, but… She started to wonder. "Zoya, here it is." Ayaan stopped in front of an ordinary building. "5^th Floor" he said. "Will you come up?" she asked. "Why would I come?" Ayaan asked with a frown. "Oh yeah, so stupid of me. See you later Ayaan. I'll find my way back in the evening." She said. "If you want I can pick you up?" Ayaan offered. "Are you sure?" "yes ofcourse." "Thank you, I will let you know the time."

6 employees and so much work, Asad sat in his cabin wondering how he would help this company grow. He kept looking at the door waiting for his engineer employee to arrive. He wasn't sure if she would come but still hoped against the odds. He didn't even know if she would agree to work in a shabby place. He just didn't know! He did believe that it would be helpful to get another perspective on his plan. It was 10:05. He felt uncertain that she would come.

*knock knock* And Zoya entered his cabin. "Hi!" he said taking a sigh of relief. "Good morning sir," she said with a small smile. "So you will work with me?" he asked just to make sure. "Yes, I will, but first, I wanted to know what I have to do? I cannot do a lot of paperwork, its boring." She said. "Ms—"Farooqui" she said. Asad realized that he had appointed someone without knowing her name. He thought it was crazy but went on with it anyway. "Ms. Farooqui," he continued, "this is an office, though your main work will not be a lot of paperwork but you will have to do some as and when it's required, and if you can't, I'm sure you know your way out!" he said boldly. He wanted to make it clear who was the boss here. "Alright, alright. So tell me, what work do you have for me?"

Zoya and Asad sat down and Asad spoke to her about the start of this business and told her about some things. "Look, this company is new. We've only just got our first order and there is no experience, of course I have experience but this company has nil. Since you are an engineer, and a master at gadgets and electronics, I would like your assistance in helping this company develop. I have prepared a 3 week trial plan for you, just to see if you can cope and work with us. Ms. Farooqui, I hired you without an interview or qualifications just looking at the title of MIT, so please don't think this is any kind of permanent job, if after 3 weeks I think you are good enough then we can talk about a permanent position in the board, which is now just me." He said. "Mr. Khan, can I please have a look at your future plans and development ideas before I sign this contract?" she asked. "Excuse me?" he said. "I want to see how you think, you will figure out whether I can work here in 3 weeks, I can do it in three minutes, please, may I?" she asked. Asad was impressed by her confidence. He opened his files and gave them to her.

Zoya spent the next 45 minutes looking descriptively at the whole development schemes. 'His ideas are different, something new. It will actually be great. I'm sure he'll go far. There are some errors ofcourse but that I can change. I can't believe I am going to run a new company! This is so exciting. I get to develop and create while his money is at risk. Its risk-free here!' she thought. Zoya loved this kind of work where she could innovate and create. She accepted the job. She waited for Asad to ask what she thought about his development plans but he didn't. He just gave her the papers. "Don't you want to know what I thought of it?" she asked. "No." he said bluntly. Zoya frowned. 'Akru.' She told herself. Asad looked up at her. "Yes?" he asked. "You haven't told me where I will sit, and what I have to do today." She asked. "The file in your hand, study it!" he said pointing at an empty desk out side his cabin. "But I just did?!" she said. "I said STUDY it, not READ it. I want a detailed document in writing about the development." He said purposely giving her paperwork. "I—"Ms. Farooqui, you have to give it by the end of the day." He said. She turned around and shot out knowing that there was no way she could finish it by today.

Asad was lost in his work when he looked around of his glass cabin and saw how all the male employees were staring at Ms.Farooqui. He called the receptionist and asked him to call everyone inside except 'the new one.'

In 5 minutes everyone was in his cabin except Zoya. She looked at Asad through the glass and wondered why she wasn't called. Asad ignored her gaze and began, "You are here to work," he said, "If I see any of you staring at Ms. Farooqui again, you will be fired or she will be fired." He made it very clear. "I get that you people haven't seen girls before and you are more interested in that than earning bread and butter for your families, but that will not work here. On appointing each one of you I had made it clear that this company should be one of the top most companies in 2 years and you people are going to benefit from that. Now, if you people waste your time then I will have to fire you." "Sorry sir," Rajesh, one of the employees said. "You better be. We've only got one project now; we need to get a lot more. So please, everyone should do their work." He said dismissing the meeting.
