I love QH..and I especially love the whole mystery aspect to it. I love that each character has a back story, and that the show HAS a story in the first place! I am a big bookworm & a huge TV junkie, and mystery is one of my favorite genres, however, I am pretty sure that mystery does NOT equal to horror! Yes, they share SOME characteristics, but I am pretty sure they aren't the same thing 🤓.
My point being, as much as I love all the suspense and mystery to the secrets in/between the two houses, I think that the CVs are going a bit too overboard with all the low-lying revenge strategies - whether that be what Razia did to Dadi, what Dadi is doing to Razia or even what Tanveer is doing. Out of all of them, Tanveer's plan makes the most sense !
I know that this is a TV show, and things can go overboard, but some times it becomes more scary than exciting. For example, when Razia hung Dadi upside down?! I mean what the shit was that?!! ..And Dadi pouring oil on the stairs to take badlaa on Razia 🤢 I mean obviously she was beyond pissed, but that just took away all the classiness, and now Razia and Dadi are just as bad as each other. Initially, I was loving how Dadi was equal to Razia, as in she was standing up and taking the initiative to take revenge for the wrongs Razia has done, but the way their storyline is moving forward, how the hell is what Dadi doing, put Razia in jail?!
And that whole Tanveer's eye thing is just weird, lame and initially it was funny, but now it just makes it look like some low-budget horror show. 🤢 Okay, maybe Tanveer has a condition with her eyes, but why that really random effect on her face - the black and white one, where the screen turns negative and flashes for a few seconds?! ..and what's with the lame billo rani background music thing?! 😳
I am just saying, that QH is such a good show, with some very classy actors, and very powerful storylines, but all this "horror-ness" is just making it look weird, and making powerful storylines look lame! I am a huge fan of horror, but I think horror is one genre where the line between scary and funny to lame, is very, VERY thin, and I really, REALLY don't want QH, turning their mysteries, into horror stories.
