Don't Mess With The Tiger: Epi Mar 5
Zoya…Zoya…Zoya. You are incorrigible, resilient, crazy, cute, hilarious and nave. Your antics on highway # 13 have kept us all entertained over the last two days. After an emotional visit to your Abbu's abandoned home, you have bounced back from the desperate, inconsolable young girl in need of comfort to your usual goofy self. To top it, you are not alone this time. A goofier, Ayaan is there to give you company. I am actually enjoying your camaraderie with him. You guys are quite entertaining as a pair but I doubt you will make a good couple. Nothing would get accomplished and in your quest to play pranks, recite shayari and play the clown, you will have the messiest, most inefficient and most disorganized household. So, you should just stay friends or shayari-buddies at best.
Zoya, I understand your intentions are good, but as you have realized yourself, you are dealing with Mr. Asad Ahmed Khan, the TIGER WITH BRAINS! He has been really patient and been your source of comfort over the last few days. Why are you messing with him, dear girl? You know he has issues with trusting people. Do you think, he will ever be able to trust you after this series of lies and pranks you are playing with him?
Will he believe that your tears at your Abbu's house were genuine? Will he believe your story about your missing Abbu? Will he ever offer his shoulder for you to cry on?
I agree, you are indirectly protecting him by preventing his testimony against Rashid Khan, but isn't there a better way than playing with his feelings? He has been a trooper so far; given in to your whims and fancies like tea, pakoras, bhoot etc, but will he be there for you when he finds out that he has been duped by you? He is a man who cherishes truth and facts. He doesn't relate to your way of working, so why are you breaking this fragile bridge that you both have so painstakingly built over the past few weeks?
There is a saying in Hindi- kabhie sher ke mooh nahin lagna chaahiye. I am afraid, that's what you are doing right now.
Zoya, I have always admired you for your strength, your resilience, your attitude towards life, but today, I am scared for you. You are messing with a tiger and the wrath of a wounded tiger is worse than the bite of a poisonous snake.
Hopefully, with time, the tiger will calm down, but in the immediate future, be ready to be chewed into little bites and wounds that will take a while to heal.
As for me, I will enjoy your rain dance with the tiger tomorrow because I know the tiger will not dance or give you a loving glance for some time to come
OUCH! I hurt just thinking of that moment.
