The only hitch is Asad's sensitivity. If he suddenly sees that Zoe who was his backbone for the past few days , is choosing someone else over him, his vulnerability is going to show up again. It will hit Asad hard that Zoe is not with him.

Asad is emotional. Zoe is rational. So, the tension in their relationship is always gonna be intense , owing to their powerful personalities.

Asad might shut down again on Zoe if she is unable to tackle him this time round.

This was bound to happen because after all Zoya is not a part of the family from day 1. She is bound to see it from a neutral pov, where she cannot side anyone. She would probably want to find the entire truth because she is not sure of anything and anyone, seeing all of their emotional sides, from Rashid to Asad to her Phoopi and Asad takes hasty decisions, so she might want him to stop and think.

BUT Asad's reaction is justified. When he came to know of his father naming properties for them, he had probably gotten a flicker of hope that his father would be innocent. But seeing what he did has shattered him, broken him that his father could actually harm them and some other innocent people. And it has taken courage to send his own father behind bars. In such a time when he needs someone to tell him he is not wrong, he has everyone turning against him. And that ONLY someone who was not judging him but actually supporting him, is turning her back too, I don't thinka human can react any better than what he has, and this is Asad, sensitive and always high on emotion.
