It is sad that we cannot discuss what we want on the forum. Both members and tragically the modertators have forced us to be quiet or to allocate ourselves to one thread only. We see multiple threads opening up in a matter of seconds on the same topic drooling over the show KSG but should we even open a topic to discuss our interpretation fo the Asad-Zoya relationship and we're either beaten up or shut-up. It is not fair that this forum is only available to a certain way of thinking and voice. That's now a productive or evolving environment.
It is very insulting when you highlight an issue and people tell you to "just chill" and "calm down" - and it is even worse when people are rude and they try to qualify themselves with "oh, this is my POV" and "sorry if I hurt you." It totally negates and undermines the point the person is making and it trivializes the whole matter.
I guarantee you by the end of this day, this thread will be shut down and as for the people who have been rude, none of them will be told what they did was wrong. And us, we will probably get ample requests to modify our posts or write "nicely" and that's what frustrates me a lot.
