After seeing this forum in lot chaos, just thought of highlighting some points. I read most of the threads, as I am a newbie I can't post many posts, so thought of summing up somethings here and ofcourse with positive intentions.
I saw many complaining that the PH is promoting violence, my take is there is difference between promoting and showing. If you have to create awareness about a disease you have to explain the symptoms and consequences first than curing it directly, if people are aware of this then they know it is a disease and they need to go to doctor to cure it.
Well, saw many discussions and criticisms, it's always good to discuss and criticize than blindly accept something but only the constructive discussion and criticism have impact not the destructive ones. Also there is a thin line between the discussion and argument, when somebody just tries to prove their point right at any cost is argument and its not discussion.

Romanticizing violence!- I really din't get this, at any point I din't feel the PH romanticize the manhandling in this show. I have watched their previous show which was immensely popular and is still popular, it had this kind of scenes, for instance there was a scene where the hero pins the heroine against the wall holding tight her wrist, her bangles get crushed and she bleeds, and there is a intense eye-lock between the two with their bg music on, only when her tear drop falls on his hand he lets her free and this is what is romanticizing violence. When Asad manhandled Zoya there was no eye-lock, there was no breeze flowing across their face, there was no romantic bg, all was shown purely as outraged act, no romance was there in it. Some people felt it that way and that is because of the previous show hangover or because of some M&B novel's effect or some movies, and ofcourse they are free to look at it that way, everybody has their own outlook, but you can't blame PH for that, and there are few like me who din't look at it that way, so we can't be generalized that whoever din't voice the 'slap' as violence are romanticizing it!

Interestingly I found so many groups here, some expecting the show to be according to their ideas, some fond of KSG so just supporting Asad and disliking Zoya, some still under the hangover of previous show and some enjoying the show as it comes. Whatever it is QH has really managed to grab attention from many corners and TRP reflects it too.👏
I am not pointing out at anyone in particular here, I am just voicing my opinion.

I agree...I definitely didn't think that it was romanticized.

I do, however, think that he made a huge mistake and needs to repent for it correctly.

BUT. I don't think that the slap is something that will ruin Asad Khan for me forever. People make mistakes. He wasn't trying to hurt. He was extremely angry and emotional; therefore, he reacted in that manner.

Even though it is definitely wrong to hit a woman, it's not like he hits women all the time!

Most of us are looking at this from the outside point of view which is why it can't be condoned AT all. But people don't see that Zoya forgave him mostly because she understood him, and she also kind of blamed herself for Dilshad's condition. Nobody can actually know how it feels unless they are Zoya or Asad themselves.

Just my opinion.

Zoya's forgiving has only made her character lovable for me - she is truly selfless. I believe asad would get better slowly - no one can change overnight.

Agree with you! Expecting a overnight change from a rigid person like Asad is worthless, he will change eventually Even I lwas impressed by Zoya yesterday..
