MEMORIES - AsYa

I watched the waves as the flirted with the sand, with the water yielding sighs from the pebbles. The sun was beginning to set, and my mind returned to the soulful thoughts of a departed love.

The cold breeze tossed by the sea caressed my face and it was then I felt something familiar and lost but not forgotten. I felt my heart flutter, without turning I could feel you...your touch.

I could feel the touch of your hands on my side, I stretched out my hand in expectancy, longing fofr your strong yet gentle grip. Not daring to turn '.fearing that you'll disappear.

In a flash my mind returned to the happy times we spent together. Memories of the time we came on this very same beach, the times we danced together. There were those special times when we fooled around and then the quiet ones.

The silent stroll along the shore, watching the stars in the night sky, and the marvelous beauty of the moodlight.

The time when you slipped a ring in my finger asking me to marry you. And when I said yes '.you stood up taking me in your arms, and asked for a dance.

This is the same place, where we met for the first time. A very special place and today I stand here alone watching the very same things which we used to watch.

Touching the ring on my finger, with an air of sadness around me'..i turn to see the place which was once very special to me''to us.

I'll love you forever, for I am left here with our memories of all the good and bad times we spent together''this is the only way we'll be together always till eternity.
