All of us have been consistently praising the director, cv's and actors, most of all KSG aka Asad Ahmed Khan. They all did a commendable job; I loved the intense sad Mitwa tune, I was thoroughly entertained, by a varying range of emotions; due to which I was so connected to the show.

But I think we all forgot an important thing in all this Reluctant Knight and Damsel running from goons, separated from each other and eventually the Knight saving his damsel; The portrayal of evil in our society. We should be more and more cautious of the society in which we live. Cases of honor killing are still on rampage. The parents of the victim are not normally so harsh, but they are pressurized by the relatives, who think they have more knowledge of izzat and honor. So nonetheless they are pretty helpless.

We can ignore this plight of young girls, as we all have done till date, or take some measure against it, for our safety and that of others. But Before taking any step and helping somebody in some dire situation, please make sure you contact you family informing them your whereas about. Trust your instinct and parents, and use Common sense; because all of us don't have Asad in our lives, who would come to our rescue, I can't even be sure to last a night when the goons are chasing.

I applaud zoya's character for being so brave and showing how strong willed a girl can be, I knw it is fiction, it's for entertainment but it can be used as a modicum of education too. It never too late to stand for ourselves and make people realize that being a girl is not a curse and burden on society.

i just thought that i should post this, as this issue was on my mind since friday ME. maybe i am right maybe wrong. but this forum is for sharing thoughts so just posted it.

what do you people say?

I thought of making a post today, but as you did, i will share my view points more or less here ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜†

You must be knowing, how brilliant QH is, which makes you spellbound. A show which cant be explained by the mere usage of words. It can only be felt and relished. After each and every episode, we are left like a mute man, who relishes the taste of the season's first mango. [I cant get my words right, cause i cant explain the feeling of mine.Forgive me at my shortcoming]

Reluctant Knight and Damsel running from goons, separated from each other and eventually the Knight saving his damsel; The portrayal of evil in our society.

Such a bold step taken the show to focus the background on. Yes we do see themes like that coming in daily shows, but only when there has been an urgent necessity to show it. But not a large extent like QH shows. From Rape Victims to Kidnappings, to Forced Marriages, to the Honor Killings, and so many more to count, biggest being Eve-Teasing.

Love for QH doesnt start here, it starts cause it is NOT a love story, or a show revolving kitchen politics or Saas Bahu Drama. It is indeed about LOVE. But not among a man and a woman, but among FAMILY. Which the society needs at the current state. Which show teaches you to love your siblings no matter step, like QH does? Which show coveys the concept of loving and respecting your parents like QH does? Which show convey's the REALITY of the LIFE like QH does?

I applaud zoya's character for being so brave and showing how strong willed a girl can be, I knw it is fiction,

Indeed, Zoya is a character although fictitious, has a healthy balance between Reality and Reel-lity. You do get people like Zoya everywhere [๐Ÿ˜‰] but she indeed is a brave soul, a character maybe much needed for this society now.As a female, you needa be BRAVE now. Zoya gives you that courage to be. Although in reel, she creates an urge in you to be strong, strong enough to let go of your fears, and fight for your rights, strong enough to let go of your ego and accept the LOVE that comes your way, strong enough not to cry on and let go and forgive and be happy, cause it makes other happy.

No matter you hate or love QH. QH indeed makes a definition. A definition clear enough to touch your heart, clear enough to rekindle it and indeed it stamps a long lasting effect in your life.

p.s. : i am still in my post dis-oriental state. you know better Appie ๐Ÿ˜†

yes it does kindle a flame of connection, which is bound to last a lifetime, rarely does a show connect like this.

n yes i know you are still dazed out, get some sleep. ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

Great post. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Through fiction QH has brought forward issues that should concern us all. Probably the reason why I'm so hooked to the show.
Zoya is one of the very few female characters on Indian telly that I have liked so much because she is strong and independant which I can relate very much to.
