Not only this, I think in that party sequence, Rizwan giving the hand of Preet to Shergill, her hesitance , shergillobliging as Rizwan talked about friendship and Preet's constant searching for Rizwan's reactions with tears from her eyes were forecast of the future dynamics. I dont know why that hand holding part with that bg music looked significant to me😆
Plus when preet completely broke down, rizwan rushed to her, so I guess there would be situation where he wpuld rry to remain indifferent or detached but will get back to her seeing her breakdown. She is not going to live a life minus her husband, she would breathing but not a life anymore I suppose.
