Team Nanu vs Team Sheila II

Welcome one and all to this trifling little game between Team Nanu ( TN )

and Team Sheila ( TS ).

Lot of betting and satta going around.

Ankur, die hard fan of TS predicts that Sheila will score hat-trick today.

The line ups are impressive for both teams with Sheila, the star player

for TS and Avantika for TN who can shatter any defence on her day.

In short, we are expecting a close encounter.

Atmosphere absolutely incredible. DM club football at its best.

"The dream, of course, would be for Adi to score a screaming goal, probably a free

kick, but for TN to walk out 3-1 winners on the night. However I think that

Avantika will be awesome yet again and Sheila more or less ineffectual, and

therefore think TN will win 3-1 or 2-0."

But Team Sheila is very determined to win tonight, in fact

they are ready to break 2-3 legs or hands, if needed. Just before the match,

Sheila is explaining the mistakes they committed yesterday and definitely not

to repeat them tonight.

Sheila and Rubal work the ball ( credit card ) nicely on the left before scoring

two successive goals. Sheila scored once again with the help of the

jeweller. Score 3-0 in favour of TS.

Good crossing chance for Adi on the right, but he sends it far too close.

Great vision and skill from Pankhuri again. With help of her GD mama,

she scored two goals beautifully. TN now 2-3.

Now Preeti received the ball on centre line from Pankhuri and dribbled

past Rubal straight to goal helping in Geeta Path. TN now 3-3.

Huge moment in this match. Pankhuri is through one-on-one against Sheila.

Several stepovers later Pankhuri bursts past Sheila on the issue of

paralysis of Harish, Lovely move from TN and one of the most

beautiful finishes you will ever see.

Pankhuri goes for spectacular acrobatic overhead kick to net the ball.

TN now 4-3.

TS are trying very hard in the last few minutes of the game. In the process

Rubel gets a red card from Preeti.

A mix of skill and perseverance takes TN past TS on tonight.

A quite brilliant game. TN could not start well but finished magnificently.

TN supporters are sad even after winning because, their star player

Avantika was off color today.

Ha ha never thought I would ever read football used as an analogy for a daily soap discussion. But you wrote a great piece. Avantika truly is a "Messi" or "Ronaldo" of this team- i.e the heartbeat which clicks the team. And I agree a rather subdued performance from her today.

Where is the captain of Team Nanu. Even the seriousness of Harish has still not brought back Nanaji. The pre-cap indicated a penalty stroke from Rubal😃
