Didn't they hide this for about 20 years.. ? and pankhuri was no where in the same frame that many years ago.. i mean they didn't even know who pankhuri was and how she will relate to deewan mansion.. pankhuri is only a recent addition..

Maybe Harish and Preeti only just realized that the reason for avantika to leave was the abortion ??

It has to be Avantika.. i know her life is already a complete mess and i keep thinking it can't be any worse.

You are right with the Pankuri thing too. It would be confusing since it's been maybe 6 month at most that they've met her, but maybe they chose to hide the truth after they saw her? I mean it could have been that they've always wanted to hide the truth for the sake of Preeti but when the truth came out, knowing Panku is now a part of their family, they're facing shame rather than speaking the truth? That could be a reason, but like you said, the most logical is the "her" being Avantika.

But like you said, what could be worse than the fact tht she and even his son misunderstands them?? But Harish never knew the real reason why him and her got seperated.. All this is really confusing but really intriguing. Can't even guess what could be SO big that their hiding..
