I think the reason is he is believing that there is no coupple happily ever after right but after seeing Pankhuri family he might be realize and he will think I need a girl from this family.

Good post, but i think it will not happen.. May be he will agree after his nana's compulsion or his father's as far i noticed he like his father than mom, let's see . what is gonna next.
