As I was engrossed in his gentle caresses and the touch of his soft lips on my warm body was infusing life into every pore of my skin, he suddenly stopped, causing me to wake up from my trance.
"Will you regret it?" he whispered into my ears.
After a pause of few moments I replied confidently to him, "No." Hearing my answer he looked happy and content.
"But..." I gulped, "I am scared," I said looking directly into his eyes wondering what he would think, would he think that I still don't trust him or would he understand my fear.
I was impatiently waiting for his reaction when he smiled and shook his head, "Scared?" he asked caressing my face. I nodded in reply.
He bent down again and kissed me on the forehead, "You don't have to be scared. I won't force you to do anything that you don't want to do. I love you and our love will make me strong enough to wait for another one and half months."
I laughed out loud, "what?"
"Yeeeaah! It's been more than a month now since you landed here,"
"But I said yes to you today..."
"But I've been in love with you ever since I saw you."
Hearing him saying this set my heart aflutter, "I am sorry," I said hugging him.
"Don't worry, it's going to be worth the wait," he said holding me tight. I knew it would be worth the wait. I knew he would make it easy for me and somewhere in my heart I was longing for him to express his love in this way.

"Good night," I said with heavy heart. We were standing outside aunt's house. There was a stern look on his face as he came closer to me and kissed me. He held me tightly in his arms and I felt so secured in his embrace. I didn't want to leave him but it was past midnight and I knew my limitations, I knew that Aunt was waiting for me. I knew I had to get home.
"You should have stayed with me," said Abhay tucking my hair behind my ear.
"Aunt must be worrying about me," I said gesturing at aunt's house.
"Uggghh I don't want to stay away from you."
"I love you," I said getting closer to him and sealed my lips with his. But I pulled away quickly realizing if I won't leave now I wouldn't be able to leave again and went directly inside the house without looking back.
As I entered the house I saw aunt lying on the sofa. I quickly went to her and woke her up.
"Aunt ?" I said patting her shoulder.
"Hmmm...pia?" she was half asleep.
"Yes."
She quickly got up, "Where were you? Are you okay honey?"
"I am okay. I am absolutely fine," I said blushing.
"Is Abhay all right?" asked aunt observing my face.
"He's fine now...everything is fine now," a smile spread across my face as I answered her.
"Looks like you told him?" smiled aunt.
"Yes," I replied embarrassingly.
"Oh honey," aunt hugged me. She was so happy to see that I conquered my fears and shed my inhibitions, "I am so happy for you."
"Thank you so much for helping. You helped me realize that I couldn't escape true love and it is because of you that I am so happy and secure in my life now." It was indeed aunt's support that gave me courage to choose the right path, the path that I considered right at that time.
"My blessings are with you," she said hugging me again.
After talking for a while we both went to our rooms to retire. As soon as I entered the room I called my mom and shared the news with her. She was really happy for me, she asked all sorts of question about Abhay. When I hang up I decided to call you but was interrupted by the sound of a knock on the window. I quickly got up to see what the matter was. A stone was lying on the floor in front of the window. As I bent down to pick it up I heard a sound coming from outside the window. I glanced down and saw Abhay standing in the garden waving at me. I quickly called on his phone, "What the hell are you doing down there?"
"I came to rob your house," he answered sarcastically.
"Then enjoy robbing. I'll call the police in the morning, good night."
"Hey don't hang up. Just come down okay?"
"Are you kidding me?"
"Umm no.."
"Damn you Abhay, what if someone sees you here? Just leave okay."
"Just because I couldn't eat the whole meal doesn't mean I won't even get the dessert," he said pouting
I was really embarrassed and annoyed to hear this, "you're such a jerk."
"I know. Now will you come down please?"
I shut the window and carefully went downstairs without waking aunt up. I slowly closed the door behind me making as less noise as possible. As I was approaching the garden I had decided to teach Abhay a lesson.
"So you want the dessert?" I asked walking towards him.
"I won't mind," he winked. That was it! I walked fiercely towards him and pushed him against the tree. He was shocked to see what I was doing. I took off his jacket and leaned my face on his neck. At first I softly kissed him then I stoked the other side of his neck with my fingers. I started kissing him with great intensity, going up towards his chin and coming down at his collar bone. My other hand was moving all over his body. I could feel the tension building in his body. I raised my head to look at his face. His eyes were closed. I grinned and put my lips on his. I kissed him deeply and passionately pushing my body against his. I knew it was the right time, I immediately backed out.
"So," I asked teasing him, "did you like the dessert?"
He didn't react for a while, he was standing still. He scrunched his eyebrows while his eyes were still closed. He was trying to calm himself down, trying to loosen up. He wore back his jacket and gazed at me furiously. I grinned looking at him.
"That was..." He took a deep breath and continued, "That was not fair."
"You wanted the dessert," I said biting my lip.
"You know it could have been worse," he sighed.
I laughed out loud, "Ha! Look at you. I blew your mind, didn't I?" I said teasing him, "you know what I think? I think that if I hadn't backed out in the middle and continued this game for a little longer you would have not been able to control yourself. Ah! God! I don't feel safe with you anymore."
He had serious look on his face as he approached me and said, "You know I would have backed out even if it was too late."
He was right; I still believe that he would have backed out even if the situation went out of the hands. Anyway, you know we spent the whole night together sitting on the bench, talking, making plans about our future together. All night he sat there holding me in his arms. He kept saying how much he loved me and was looking forward to spend rest of his life with me. We planned our future in merely few hours sitting on that bench in the middle of the night. The moon bore witness to our promises and plans for the future.
But as they say, man proposes God disposes." As pia said this her eyes filled with tears and in vain she tried to hold her tears back. She took a deep breath and continued, "It was a wonderful night," she tried to smile but the tears in her eyes were still visible, "I fall asleep in his arms and the poor guy couldn't even move until morning.
Finally I woke up around 6, Abhay was still sleeping. A smile spread across my face as I looked at his angelic face. I reached to his cheek and kissed it, waking him up.
"Good morning," I wished him softly.
"Morning," he was still half asleep.
"Wake up honey," I said patting his shoulder.
He quickly opened his eyes and smiled at me, "what did you say?"
"What?" I didn't get what he was asking.
"What did you just say?" he asked excitedly.
"Umm I said good morning and I asked you to wake up."
"Yeah what word did you use to wake me up?" he asked curiously.
"I said wake up..." said I answering and immediately remembered the whole sentence, "honey."
He smiled and nodded. "That was really sweet. You know nowadays people use words like "baby" and what not to call each other but this word "honey" has an old world charm to it."
I smiled hearing this. I didn't know he would notice such a petty thing but I was glad that he did. I had never been in a relationship, but this time I was actually in love .
"I need to go now," I said pointing at the house.
He nodded and kissed me. "I'll see you in the afternoon," he said kissing me again.

Abhay and I decided to meet for lunch. I quickly dressed up, wearing a red dress, as red was his favorite color. After bidding aunt goodbye I got out of the house only to find Jey standing at the door.
"Hey," I was startled to see him.
"Hey. How are you?" he noticed that I was dressed up and heading out for somewhere.
"I am good," I said closing the door behind, "what's up with you?"
"I am good too. It's been so long since I saw you so I thought why not surprise you?"
"That's really sweet of you, thanks," I said smiling. However, in my heart I knew this was not the right timing as Abhay could arrive anytime soon.
"You are going somewhere?" he asked observing my face.
Before I could answer him I saw Abhay's car approaching us. He pulled up and got out of it, gazing first at me and then at Jey.
"Hey Jey," he said coming towards us.
"Hi," replied Jey.
"Hey honey," he said smiling at me and then abruptly kissed me. I met Jey's gaze he was startled to see Abhay kissing me like this. I knew that so many questions were running through his mind.
Are we all set to go?" asked Abhay.
"Jey I am so sorry but I need to go now. I'll see you soon okay? I'll call you."
"Okay," he replied with a faint smile and left. I quickly went to the car ignoring Abhay and sat in it.
Abhay sat on the driver's seat. There was an awkward silence. I was really mad at him for behaving like this in front of Jey. "What was that all about?" I asked breaking the silence.
"What?"
"The thing that you just did. Calling me honey and kissing me."
"So?"
"So?" he was getting on my nerves now.
"Wait a second, it was you who called me "honey" in the morning and now when I called you that you are complaining."
"You know this is not what I mean. You shouldn't have called me that in front of Jey."
"And why not?" he said turning towards me.
"Because he doesn't know yet..."
"I think now he does," He said raising his eyebrows.
"I didn't want to reveal him about us like this. I wanted to tell him myself."
"How does it matter now? You wanted to tell him, right? Now he knows! Job's done. You can thank me later!"
"It was not the right way. I wanted to tell him personally because..."
"Because?" he said cutting me off.
"Well, because...because Jey likes me." As I said this the look on Abhay's face changed. He was startled to hear this.
"And you never cared to tell me?" he asked furiously and I witnessed the devil again in his eyes.
