Everyone rushes to Misha and you have like four to five people calling out Misha's name over and over (and over and over). And that's it. No one calls the police. No one calls the ambulance. No one calls the principal. No one gets water. No one check's Misha's pulse. No one gets a first aid kit. I have heard about shock and the 'mob mentality' but this was just dumb. No common sense.
Then Arnab and the police show up and same thing. It actually went two steps further. Arnab is usually a great dad but this is the second time one of his daughters (first Piya now Misha) is lying helpless, unconscious and bleeding and he does nothing. Instead he starts his own interrogation of Abhay – on the spot. What the heck????!!!!
And then the crowd disperses leaving Abhay and Piya alone. How convenient. How many times have we all wanted everyone to go away and leave Piya and Abhay alone? We finally got that today and it made no sense. The crowd just left? Jeh is not concerned about Piya? Arnab leaves Piya alone with Abhay? Alina manages to unglue herself from Abhay's side? This is so pathetic that I could laugh. Almost.
Abhay's story: a snake bite. Ok whatever. The others do not know he is a vampire but Piya does. And (this is where I am shaking my head again) Abhay tells Piya that the snake bite story is true and he expects Piya to believe it? Get real! Abhay note to self: the love of your life is not stupid. So stop treating her like she is.
Something else that bugged me was Abhay's attitude. I can accept he needed that attitude with everyone tonight but with Piya? Again, shaking my head.
Misha has Abhay's blood? What does this mean? Or will it mean anything at all since the writers have a way of changing situations. First Piya then Misha.
And finally, 'smart' Piya is back!!!! Her accusations were bang on and her thoughts clear. She wants to believe Abhay but after what happened tonight, and his pathetic lie, she needs more than 'trust me'. Damn, Piya was so close to the truth about Haseena.
Piya knows Abhay did not hurt Misha and that he is protecting someone. Well after today's attack, Piya realizes she also has to protect her family. Piya cannot ignore what is happening.
Another example of no common sense today from the writers/director: Piya gives Abhay her ultimatum (finally, in my opinion) and then walks away? She is asking for the truth and – well – when one asks for the truth, one usually stays to hear what the other person has to say right? The scene should be that Piya waits to hear Abhay's truth/lie and then react. Walking away at this point made no sense.
Today's episode was an important one for the story and there was a lot going on but its presentation was badly done.
