First of all how can he trust jeh. He said he willn't harm piya but on the other hand he said this time not a bf but a son stands in front of abhay who can do anything for his mom. Good son isn't the son who supports his mom in her wrong deed but who tries to rectify her. and we know how much abhay loves his parents. How far he went to save chand? That time he didn't think about piya, didn't let the emotion come to his way. He rescued his mom by smartness without harming anyone. Even if I agree that what jeh did was to save his mother but after that also he put the condition that some other one have to take charge of the murder. Means his mom can murder a lot of people and innocent people will have to take the charge.
