CHAPTER 15

Pia wait for Agni and Maithli.

Pia: Pata nai kahan reh gaye? Mujhe bhook lag rahi hai.
Pia dial Agni's number but not answering. Pia dial again and again but every time not answering.

On Other Hand:

Maithli and Sid run in hospital for Doctor. Abhay stay with wounded Agni. He felt very guilty. Doctor came with Sid and Maithli. Doctor check Agni and told them for an immediate operation coz Agni's condition is serious. Maithli sit on bench of hospital. After saw Maithli's condition Sid fill hospital formalities and take Maithli's sign. Doctor went in Operation Theater with Agni.
Sid: Plz khud ko sambhalo.
Metz (yelled): Kya sambhalun? Kya? Mmm...mee...rraa bh...bh...bhai...iii. (crying)
She pointing Operation Theater and crying. Abhay came towards her.
Abhay: I am sorry... Main aisa kuch karna nai chahta tha but... It happened.
Maithli give him dagger look and said.
Maithli: Abhay Raichand! Meri ek baat yaad rakhna agar mere bhai ko kuch hua to main tumhe jaan se maar dungi, samjhe tum. Yaad rakhna meri baat.
Maithli usey warn karti hui chali gayi. Sid run behind her.
Sid: Plz Maithli! Calm down.
Metz: What calm down? Idhar mera bhai mout aur zindagi k beech jhol raha hai aur udhar Pia... Oh God! Pata nai Pia kitna pareshan horai hogi? (start crying) Ma...mai...main us...usey kai...kaise bb...bata...bata paungi kk... bha...bhaiii... (crying badly)
Sid: Maithli plz stop crying. I'll do something but plz stop crying o.k?

Metz nodded. Sid move outside the hospital.

Jay drinking coz he is very happy today.

Jay P.O.V:

"Jab maine pehli baar Abhilasha ko dekha tha tabhi mere dil main ghantiyan bajne lagi thin. Wo mujhe achi lagne lagi. Phir mujhe pata chala k wo Abhay ki behen hai. Abhay mera dost nai hai par us se mujhe apna relation sahi rakhna parta tha Punchi di aur Misha ki waja se lekin ab, ab mujhe us se dosti karni hai ta k main Abhilasha ko hasil kar sakun. Bas ek baar wo Agni... raste se hat jaye. Main jab b Abhilasha se baat karne ki koshish karta wo Agni k paas chali jati. Phir jab Agni ne usey thappar maara to maine soch liya k is moqey se faida uthaun. Isiliye maine Abhay ko wo sab baaten batayen. Ab Abhay us Agni ka wo haal karega k Agni is college se kya is shehar se hi wapas chala jayega. Poor Pia... Ek hi dost tha "Agni" aur wo b sab kuch chod k chala jayega."
Evil smile creep in his lips.

Pia open door. Sid stand.
Pia: Wo... ghar pe koi nai hai so, sorry aap andar nai aasakte.
Sid: Yah! I know, chalo.
Pia: Kahan?
Sid: Plz don't ask any single question. Plz mere saat chalo.
Sid hold her hand and start moving.
Pia: But plz! Abi ghar main koi nai hai. Mera ghar pe rehna buhat zaruri hai. Maithli ya Bhaiyu main se koi aayega to pareshan hojayega, plz.
Sid stop and give her angry look. Pia quiet and start walking with him.
Sid open car door for her. She sit.

At Hospital:

Maithli sit on bench near Operation Theater. Sid came with Pia. She saw Maithli and run towards her.
Pia: Aap thek to hain? Yahan kya kar rai hai?
Maithli saw her, hug her tightly and start crying.
Abhay aren't believe on his sight. He shockly saw them.
Abhay (confuse): Do do Pia?
Sid: Stupid! Do do Pia nai, Maithli aur Pia.
Sid (whispering): Pia ki twins but elder sis Maithli aur in dono ka bara bhai Agni.
Abhay: Ye sab kya horaha hai? Main pagal hojaunga.
Sid: Chalo hospital k paas jo green area hai wahan chal k baitho. In dono ko is waqt ek dusre ki zarurat hai. Tumhen yahan dekh k Maithli pehle se hi disturbed hai, chalo.
Sid Abhay ko le jata hai.
Maithli: Ppp...ppiii...piaaa...
Pia also crying.
Pia: Kya hua? Plz bolen mujhe darr lag raha hai, kya hua?
Maithli: Ag... Agn...niii ka op...oper...rati...ion ho...rah...ha... haiii.
Pia shockly saw her: Kkyyaaa...?
Maithli nodded.
Pia: No... No! It can't happened.
Maithli: Pia!
Pia (cry): Aisa nai hosakta. Bhaiyu ne kaha tha k wo thora late hojayenge to phir yahan kaise?
Maithli: Look Pia!
Pia start loosing her senses.
Pia: No! Ai...aisa nn...na...nai nai ho...ho sak...sakta. Bh...bhai...bhaiyu ko... She faint. Maithli hold her.
Maithli: Pia! Pia open ur eyes, Pia!
Maithli patting her cheeks but she didn't open her eyes. Sid who came back after leave Abhay outside run towards them.
Sid: Maithli! Kya hua?
Metz: Pata nai ye achanak behosh hogayi hai.
Sid call nurse and want a glass of water. Nurse give him and he threw some water drops on her face, he try to wake her up, and he succeed.
Pia: Bhaiyu kahan hain? Mujhe un k paas jana hai.
Sid: Plz control ur self Pia! He'll be fine soon.
Pia: Kk... Kaise hua ye sab...?
Sid and Metz didn't answer.
Pia: Boliye na! Jawab dain mujhe. Bhaiyu k saath ye sab kaise hua?
Metz want to answer but Sid snapped.
Sid: Hill pe kharey the disbalance ho k gheri khayi main gir gaye. But you don't worry sab thek hojayega.
Maithli Sid ko ghoorne lagi kyun k usne Abhay ko bachane k liye jhoot bola.
Pia: Aapne unhen bachaya?
Sid: Yah! Wo actually main us taraf kisi kaam se gaya tha. By chance nazar par gayi. Agni's good luck!
Pia: Thank you! Thank you... Aap nai jante aapne hum dono behno k liye kya kiya hai.
Sid: You embarrasing me and yah its my duty.
Pia: Wo thek hojayenge naa? Doctors kya keh rahe hain?

Sid Maithli saw each other but no one answering. Pia and Maithli are in pain. They both are crying. Sid sadly saw both.

Abhay sit on grass.
Abhay (to moon): Ye kya kar diya maine. Itna pagal hogaya k ek insaan ki jaan lene ki koshish ki, koshish kya ki? Jaan le hi li. Agar Agni ko kuch hogaya to...? Nai kuch nai hoga. Agni ko kuch hogaya to main khud ko kabhi muaf nai kar paunga. Plz God! Plz usey bacha lo.
Tears rolling in his eyes only for Agni. He pray for him.

At Early Morning:

Doctor came out from Operation Theater. Maithli alert.
Maithli: Doctor! Mera bhaii... Thek haina?
Doctor quiet.
Sid: Plz doctor answer. How is he now?
Doctor: Dekhiye hamne puri koshish ki hai. Unhen kafi serious fracture hue hain isliye...
Pia: Isliye kya doctor? Plz batayen.
Doctor: Dawa humne dedi ab dua karna aapka kaam hai. Filhal hum kuch b nai keh sakte k wo jee payenge ya nai.
Pia (yelled): How dare you say this? Aap doctor hain ya qasai? Itni rudely baat kar rahe hain.
Doctor (angrily): Behave ur self lady. He is very serious. For under observation we are shifting him in I.C.U. O.K.
Doctor move from there.
Maithli: Heartless!

Pia cry. Sid console her. Maithli move towards I.C.U.

Raichand Mansion:

Haseena and Chand sit in living room.
Chand: Sab bache kahan hain? Koi nazar nai aaraha.
Haseena: Sid Abhay ko le kar out of town gaya hai.
Chand: Why?
Haseena: Farm house k bare main Sid se baat hui thi meri. Wo dono wohi final karne gaye hain. Achanak chale gaye isliye bataya nai tha. Raat ko kafi dair main Sid ne call kar k bataya.
Chand: Hmmm! Aur Cheeni?
Haseena: Apne room main hai. Pata nai kyun kal se kafi upset hai.
Chand: Upset... Uska joridaar jo chala gaya. Abhay k bina usey chain kahan...
Haseena smile.
Chand: Sid k liye koi larki dekhi?
Haseena: Nahi! Par ab seriously soch rai hun k kam se kam ek bahu to le hi aaun.
Chand: Yani ziyada se ziyada ek dozen bahuen le kar aaogi.
Haseena: Come on Chand! Yahan ek nai milti aur aap ek dozen ki baat kar rahe hain.
Chand laugh and Haseena smile.

Abhay sit in dhaba. CWB came.
CWB: Chai!
Abhay take tea and drink. After drinking he pay bill and leave.
CWB saw him and smile.

"Ise nai maloom k yn apni manzil k paas ja raha hai. Ajib itifaq hai manzil samne hai aur ise khabar nai. Aasan manzil aur khatarnak aur mushkil rasta."
