That's what Piya told Abhay as she nestled in his arms. And that strikes you, doesn't it? Piya has given everything that she had ' every ounce of emotion that she is capable of ' to Abhay. She has parents , she has sisters , she has friends , suddenly , her life is great but none of them can reach the Abhay pinnacle in her life . Abhay was the first ray of light in her life . He was the first one and the only one to shield her against the winter winds . He was the first one to make her fall in love with herself and give her that feeling of 'being loved ' and 'being wanted'. He filled her with so much emotion that even if the whole world falls in love with her today , its secondary. She has long stopped yearning for love because Abhay filled her to the brim.
And today , he is with her and gives her so much love , so much assurance , so many promises , so many fairytales and so many dreams that Piya just glows like a firefly and hops around the whole world like a happy bunny. Hasn't Abhay made this girl-next-door the most beautiful girl in the world ? Hasn't he made this orphan the most loved girl in the world? Hasn't he filled her world with so much happiness that she is going delirious with all the joy in her heart? Hasn't he given her the life she always dreamt of? Its like he has just picked all the stars in the sky and put them in her palms.
Then?
One fine day , he is going to walk away''..taking Piya with him and leaving just a shattered shadow behind in the name of a girl called Piya.
Abhay doesn't realize , or maybe he does , but he has ruined Piya totally ' for a life that he thinks she can live without him. He has ruined her too much for her to be able to even look at a man again with heart eyes. He has given her so much that when he takes away everything in one single snap , its tough to figure out what will be left of Piya behind. Infact , will there be any Piya at all?
I am not saying that Piya is going to die or anything if Abhay leaves her. But then, death is not always physical. Sometimes, life doesn't go out of you but light does.
You have ruined Piya , Abhay. Ruined her for anyone and everyone , forever. Its either you or else its someone else with a Piya whom you won't know, Piya herself wouldn't know and the audience doesn't want to know.
All these romantic scenes of the two birds , send more alarm bells ringing than putting fairydust on your eyelashes. How can Abhay even THINK that he can leave the girl after imprinting her with himself LIKE THIS?
And no, I am not bashing Abhay . It is just the shocking rudeness and tragedy of the situation that am talking about.
