i would say no, n wish for her to not be, but then iits been some sign i dont know how to translate.
..Abhay touching maithalis painting, piya feeling it
..Piya knowing abhays fav book nd flower out of no where.
the second one might be cause she have noticed while she was in his bedroom though.

but beeing a doppelganger is most possible.
nd i guess creatives plan to get to the connection nd have a proper track on it as they seemed to change Piashree to pia-li for its resemblance to maith-li, lol

there is no guarantee too that she is a doppelganger of maithili...nor they have ever shown that she is reincarnation of maithili...

as for now we feel she is doppelganger of maithili...but cv's can change the script and show us anything they want like the way they showed piyashree to piyali...so they can conveniently change and show it like a blooper when she spoke to maithili's spirit...
