Abhay-Piya-Misha-Arnab: I got your back, always.

Quite a powerful episode , wasn't it? Intense.Raw. Bitter. Powerpacked . Believable. I have never understood these disparities and divides in the writing of this serial. Sometimes, you are dished out such garbage that even Paracetamol won't help you sit through the episodes. And sometimes, you have these sheer moments of brilliance , both in writing and acting. Team , be honest. You do give episodes to write to your hired assistants. Don't you? Well, it is a norm in the television industry , so its cool. If that is not the case , then, explain the variations in writing , will you?
But hey , we do like you , so don't be offended. We are just curious, as an audience. Okay, now, ket me praise you a bit ( which I often do , lol).
Abhay-Piya – lovers. Arnab-Misha – father & daughter. But do you know why I put them together in this post? No matter what highs and lows , what tomfoolery , what bad phases this serial has been through. A few constants have stayed, well, constant. Abhay-Piya , whether friends , whether enemies, whether lovers – they always stood up for each-other. More than fighting with each-other , they have fought for each-other . Never caring about their reputation , or the consequences , they both always had each-other's back. Abhay didn't care about the rules of the vampire world or his limitations whenever he had to protect Piya. Piya , never cared about her reputation , her relationships , her own life whenever it came to shielding Abhay from the hostile human world. Yes, there have been people with them, for them , but nobody has ever been for Abhay-Piya , like they have been for each-other. You touch Abhay and Piya turns into a tigress. You raise a finger at Piya, and Abhay releases the animal inside him. This is the kind of bonding , where you know that the whole world can change , that one person will always be your warrior , your guard and will always have your back.
Arnab and Misha. It is perhaps the strongest father-child relationship on this show. Misha is a possessive daughter. An emotionally radical daughter who possesses all the rights on Arnab. Arnab is Misha's world , her idol, her inspiration , her sounding board , her best friend , her father – a father she loves to death and has always been possessive about. If you recall, there have been occasions when Misha, in her playful ridicule has joked that Pancchi comes second. Misha is the Dobriyaal Princess. And hell yes, its true. And Arnab? He loves all three daughters of his – Pancchi, Misha and Piya. But Misha is special to him , she always has been. Right from Misha's one sneeze to her love life. Arnab has been the nurturer , the hero , her everything. Nobody can raise a voice at Misha because Arnab is her shield. And no one gets away with misbehavior with Arnab as long as Misha is there. Misha is bonded to her father. To her , Arnab is 'My Dad.'. Simple. I can relate to that psychology. I am a very possessive daughter , myself and at a point my parents had to make me understand that being nice to my cousins and friends didn't mean they loved me any less. Till date , when am way too grown up, I force them to say that I am PRIME. Happens. Some of us are fiercely possessive about our parents – we may sound silly and immature but blood is , well, I don't know how to put it into words.
And today , these two viscose relationships crossed paths with each-other , on a war front. Piya stood up fiercely for the one she loves and Misha stood up like a monster for the one she possesses and worships. Piya stood by what was right and Misha stood by what she thought was right. One in emotional defense and the other in emotional defense and factual ignorance.
Like always, Abhay was ready to take the blame. Infact , he looked more bored and offended by Misha's, Arnab's and Kabir's blame game. The only person he thought it necessary to explain himself to was Misha. He gave two hoots about the rest. Like always , he kept quiet . And like always, Piya came like an aggressive eagle to Abhay's defence. Angry tears in her eyes that someone could behave like that with Abhay , she actually bashed everyone right-left-center for raising voices and hands on Abhay. Already stung by the repetition of an emotional rejection , for Piya , Abhay's state was the last straw for her. When Misha screamed at her for siding with a loser like Abhay and forgetting the love and affection that she and the rest of the family have given her ……Piya told her what was the truth.More than the sting of being reminded she was an orphan, what hurt her was that she would never be able to explain to any one of them that who Abhay was for her and what he had done for her. She didn't care about her father, Misha's misplaced but justified anger or the whole world listening. She just wanted to get her only family out of this mess. Yes. Abhay is her family . He always will be. There is a reason that why , just why , Abhay will always be Piya's PRIME ONE. Piya wanted to get out , just get out and no , nobody gets to touch Abhay.
Misha. I understand where she is coming from. What she did today was shocking and what she will do for a few days will pinch you . But just look at that Papa's Princess. Papa's Princess for a good 17+ years. A sensitive , loving , attached and emotionally aggressive and possessive teenager. It is not her fault that she loves her father like the blood in her veins.It is not her fault that Arnab, Madhu and Piya hid the truth from her. It is not her fault if she doesn't know the reality of Abhay-Piya's relationship. It is not her fault if she doesn't know what Abhay came to steal in the study. Above all, it is everyone else's fault if we expect her to be a saint and just forgive her father and open her arms to Piya. No. It is just not done. You can't just turn around and tell someone that " Listen , honey. We have made a curry out of your life , your every belief , your very foundation and you better accept it." Hell no. She is only human and you have to understand what a shock and betrayal it is for her. You can't place Piya in her palace and tell her that she better open her heart to the new princess. Misha is still a baby and for her , emotions are not only deep, they are volatile and impulsive. Don't get angry at the poor girl. Look at the betrayed Papa's Princess inside her. Its equally terrible for her… if not more.
And the last scene , I can watch it over and over. For Abhay. For Arnab. The injured , bleeding and sinking Piya being told by Abhay and Arnab that they love her . They always will. Abhay's emotions were guarded but raw . The way he gathered her in his arms and pulled out that glass shard from her neck. And Arnab was shattered , finally , letting go off the love he has held back for Piya. His cries, his pleadings for an apology…….if only Piya was conscious enough to hear what she has always wanted to hear from her father. It is good that rest of the characters stayed in a state of shock and didn't crowd the scene. Madhu , shattered. Pancchi , shocked. Misha, numbed. Haseena, moved. Chaand, practical. Misha, numbed. Kabir , helpless. Piya , a bleeding Piya got what she needed. Arnab's apology and Abhay's arms.
Finally, Abhay did something which was both in the favour of his family and Piya.Lol. Abhay , to stop his family and Piya from getting exposed, and knowing that no hospital can save her ,he just gathered her in his arms and walked off the Dobriyaal Mansion. And as we saw in the precap, nobody could stop him. Not Arnab. Not Sid. Everytime, the world has wounded her, Abhay has been her healing. So, how could today be any different?
Lastly , don't hate anyone . The Abhay-Piya-Misha-Arnab war happened because they love each-other . And everything is going to be okay. 'Coz as I said, they have got each-others' backs. When you get hurt , you cause hurt. So, just let it be.

P.S- The precap , in a twisted way, shows you that maybe the Raichands are Piya's keepers now. Abhay might have to endanger himself to save Piya and Haseena looks ruffled . As for the promo, well, Misha is in aggressive depression , so just give her time to deal with it.
