About Pali

hi this is where Pali is located.. my grandparents from there and my full name is.. 😆 nishtha singh paliwal,i find this funny n first time i am telling anyone about this...here at IF😳😆

Ranakpur is located in the mountain ranges of Pali district, its a Famous Jain Temple see the architecture of the place

wanted to post the pic of our ancestral home but cudnt as there was pic of my whole family..and i am strictly not allowed to do so.. 😕

This is how ppl dress up in Pali or in Rajhasthan

Men ,Dad wears this only during Holi and if we are in Rajhasthan.. otherwise he cant wear the dhotti properly, 😆others help them but its really a nice looking clothes i love it.. and yes not to forgot our traditional sword. if i can post the pic of it..😳

women

my mum wears only the "ghagra choli" not the bangles as you can see but only when we are in Pali not here in delhi 😳 n the one on the forehead is called Bodala..its very important for all the married ladies in Rajhasthan.. and the bigger and better it is shows how much money you have..😆

now i have posted pics of.. two of my homes ie one in Delhi and other in pali.. will post pics from London now where my bro and sis lives currently😊

i can post pics of my london home as only bro is there in one of them😆

Awesome post Nish 👏 👏 👏 will try to participate in the contest...I can imagine how Neil & Barkha look in Gho & Kira(Natinal dress of Bhutan) Here r some pic. of Bhutan where I live.
The attraction of anything in Bhutan is pretty obvious. The country is fabulously beautiful - green and lush with incredible mountains. Then there's there culture. Having been closed to the outside world for centuries, Bhutan is an exotic and fascinating place. The Paro Tsechu festival with its drama and dance is an expression of that exotic culture.

The path of enlightenment is lonely and narrow for monks at Taktshang Monastery, who take turns meditating alone in a cliffside retreat for three years, three months, three weeks, and three days. Taktshang, the Tiger's Den, is where the great Guru Rimpoche, who first brought Buddhism to Bhutan, is said to have arrived on a flying tiger in the eighth century.

This mountain is Jhomolhari, at 23,996 feet [7,314 meters> Bhutan's second highest peak. In the foreground a fortress built to repel Tibetan invaders crumbles to the ground.

Tsechu (celebrating Bhutanese Festival)A tsechu is a sacred festival. Literally translated the word means "day ten." Each district in Bhutan has its own tsechu

Punakha Dzong is located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers in the Punakha-Wangdue valley makes this an incredible site to see
