Shanks is quite realistic

Barring the little "confession" in yesterday's episode where Shanks told Sumo in front of everyone that he loves her ( it was either to make Prats jealous, which in this case i doubt, or to reassure Sumo that he's going nowhere), Shanks seems like a guy someone could relate with pretty easily.

Here's an easygoing, relaxed guy who's just fallen in love with someone, yet is tied back because of prior commitments, in this case, his engagement. The usual typical Ekta heroine is oh so sacrificing, doesn't think much about herself. On the other hand, a lot of times, the hero plays games and tries to make the heroine jealous. But I feel like it's almost different in this case. Shanks has qualities that i think so many of us can relate to - he's selfish because he wants to be with Prateeksha and was on the verge of telling Sumo numerous times how things wouldn't work between them - however, in yesterday's episode, he began to wonder whether what he was doing was right, labelling Sumo's love for him as an obsession and not exactly being a great fiancee...so he's decided to try to make things work out between the both of them. He's torn between his own longing to be with the person he loves but at the same time, he knows he can't break one of his best friends' heart. At least this time, it's not about himself like it usually is for a lot of BT heroes where they either get revenge on their lover by making them jealous or marrying someone else 😕 He's genuinely concerned about Sumo and for her happiness, is going to try and work things out...

I find it easy to relate to him because we all know that hardly any one of us out there are sati savitris...we all have our own goals, ambitions, desires that we'd love to accomplish/gain. And at times, we do become selfish to try and reach where we want to be. But at the same time, a majority of us still hold true to our values, cherish our family and friends enough that we can't hurt them and sometimes sacrifice our happiness for them if we can.


Now we ALL know things won't work out between Shanks-Sumo....maybe temporarily but in the long run, it was meant for Shanks-Prats...but it's nice to see that he cares😳 UNLESS Ekta pulls an Ekta....like in the case of Prem-Mukti's story... (😭😭😭 moment of silence please for one of the best characters EVER!! AND for one of the best indian television love stories ever...ruined thanks to Ms. Producer! 🤢)....in which case Shanks-Sumo will last....

4m da very begining of da series shanks was always portrayed as a realistic guy.That's da essence or unique ness of his character whch got me attracted.Normally we see rough&tough macho typ heroes wid a lot of attitude.Bt,here he is so relatable,a pragmatic character who maintains a smooth balance btwn serious&funny.I mean,he is a guy wid awesome sense of humour simultaneously a guy who fell too hard in luv yet controlling own feelings4da xpanded betterment of his bestfreind&his family.Earlier he was trying2make prats realize dat dey both luv each other&so shd move on bt after her repeated refusal&coming face2face wid da tru feelings of his freind he has decided2give it a chance.He has thought practically,dat though he myt never b able2comp pour his heart out4sumo,even den he shd give it a try.He is sincerely trying i think.
Prats now myt realize dat destiny has snatched da chance4m her2b wid an honest,caring humanbeing.She will feel da heat of da pain most now.I've always admired his character&cont2do so.

DAMN Still i curse Ekta for ending my favorite couples(Prem & Mukti) lovestroy in such a rude way....
And yes Prem & Mukti's love story is one of the Best love stories on Indian TV and Prem & Mukti is one of the Best couple ever that cannot be ever replace by any other couple.They always had their own unique Magic on them which always made me hooked on them...Bless Prem - Mukti 4ever & Love them from all my life...Prem - Mukti always leads the Top place in my heart and nothing can change my pure love to them. 😆 😆 😆
