With Shanky's confession 2 Sumo, Prats has all the mixed feelings.. she is happy 4 Sumo, a deep respect for her luver Shanky, n super sad 4 having 2 lose true luv of Shanky.. .. Shanky feels low bt tries 2 make Sumo happy n avoids Prats totally.. Prats notices Shanky doesnt even luk at her now.. she feels like crying out bt keeps a happy face thru the Sangeet...Sangeet finally gets over... all reach home.. Shanky keeps quiet all th time n again avoids Prats completely even at his home n jst goes 2 his room n lies down on his bed.. he thinks of sumo n his future with her bt Prats keeps coming back 2 his thots.. Prats feels like dead, lies on bed n stares blankly at celeing...
Shanky.. tries hard not 2 think of Prats n reminds himself of his vows 2 Sumo.. his head starts hurting.. he sits up n opens the drawer for a pill.. he sees all the belongings of Prats lying there..then decides he needs 2 get rid of them if he wants 2 let go off Prats thots completely ... he luks at watch its almost 2:00 o'clock.. he tells himself everybody wud b asleep n he must talk 2 Prats for one last time b4 his mrg tomorrow.. he collects Prats belongings, reaches Prats room n knocks lightly..
Prats unable 2 get sleep is simply rolling uncomfortably on bed.. senses somebody on door n hears the knock.. she is afraid it wud b Shanky.. slowly gets up, opens the door, n isnt surprised 2 c Shanky..
Shanky luks down n tells Prats he wants 2 talk 2 her one last time n tht she come 2 terrace.. n leaves 4 it.. Prats grabs her dupatta n slowly starts 4 terrace.. their talks on terrace starts flashing in her mind n tears start 2 slowly well up in her eyes..
She reaches terrace n sees shanky standing at the same spot.. she goes near and stands beside him.. n slowly turns towards him Shanky.. shanky 2 turns n faces her.. She luks up n sees tears in his eyes... tears rushes in her eyes 2.. Shanky hands over her her box full of things which she had seen in his room in the morning.. the paper with her name written all over it.. her earring.. her hairclip.. her pictures.. each n every small thing... she luks down n a tear rolls down her face.. Shanky turns away n says.. this is the last time i wud b talking 2 u like this.. this our last meeting this way.. coz from tomorrow he will b someone else's.. n tht he feels hurt bt he will smile only 4 sake of Sumo.. he tells her this is wat she wanted n it will happen tht way.. he 2 cant c Sumo crying n sad.. n he doesnt want 2 shatter her dreams n break her heart.. he says he feels sorry tht he ever met her.. he complains 2 God y they ever crossed each other's path.. n y did He made them fall in luv... if they wer never meant 2 b together, then y he ever tried 2 bring them more closer with each passing day n let those feelings grow.. watever it is he will try 2 forget n b happy 4 Sumo.. he takes out a pendant with two hearts in it.. and he tells Prats he meant 2 give it 2 Prats when she confessed her luv 4 him indicating their hearts will b together forever.. he smiles off n says bt i guess they werent meant 2 b together.. he takes out a heart n puts it on her things on the box.. he luks at Prats one last time n leaves in tears.. Prats jst cudnt stop the tears, drops down on terrace floor, holds the box close 2 her heart n starts sobbing relentlessly..
Sumo suddenly awakens from her sleep all bewildered and confused.. she jst had a weird dream.. she got a glimpse of Shanky feeling very sad n saw Prats sobbing loudly.. Araina comforts her n tell her its jst wedding blues thts y she is getting such wierd dreams.. Sumo tells i really hope its jst tht coz it seemed very real.. feels worried n bt goes back 2 sleep..
Shanky reaches the terrace door n hears Prats sobbing.. he had strong urge 2 go hold Prats give her a hug n take her to her room.. .. bt he jst turns around n says... 2 jst one last time please listen 2 him.. 2 go back 2 her room as it was really cold outside n 2 please not 2 marry that greedy Prashant... n leaves.. Prats slowly gets up n leaves 4 her room with tears flowing down incessantly.. she reaches her room n throws herself on bed unable to control her tears..
when she wakes up next morning by a knock at her door.. she gets up feeling still very low.. opens n sees Shanky's mom askin her 2 get down 4 breakfast.. she gets ready n walks down.. the house is decorated very beautifully n everybody in the house is very eager n enthu 4 Shanky's wedding today.. she tries 2 luk happy n sees Shanky all quiet jst giving off plain smiles in between.. she tries not 2 think of him n finishes her bfast quickly n tries 2 get busy with odd jobs in the house..
They reach mrg venue.. sees Aziz.. their eyes meet n she luks down n goes up 2 greet Sumo.. Sumo asks her 2 sit by her as she is feeling a little uneasy n Araina is really busy with guests downstairs.. she gets herself busy with Sumo.. Sumo's mom tells her tht Baraat has reached n Shanky luks really handsome.. n Sumo better b all ready as she will b called down 4 the rituals.. n teases her tht she is soon gonna b Shanky's lawfully wedded bride.. Sumo feels shy n smiles at Prats.. Prats smiles back n holds her hands.. Sumo feels very happy n talks abt Shanky gleefully.. Prats tries 2 avoid her eyes as she is trying hard 2 keep Shanky's thots away... His confession n his each n every word keeps coming back 2 her.. she hears the chanting downstairs n starts feeling super sad.. tears start welling up again.. she wipes them off n keeps smiling.. at last Sumo is called downstairs n Prats excuses herself saying she will b down in a few minutes.. she closes the door behind her back n cries her heart out.. she holds the lone heart tight tht Shanky gave her last night n slowly memories of those moments spent with Shanky starts flashing back in her mind.. her cries turns into heavy sobbing.. she tries 2 control bt jst cudnt..
Downstairs, the rituals have started n Sumo n Shanky r about 2 do pheras n Shanky's mom asks Aziz 2 bring the box of mangalsutra , which she has kept in a drawer in Sumo's room.. Aziz reaches Sumo's room finds it closed was abt 2 knock when he hears someone sobbing.. he realizes its Prats, feels sad, n knocks the door.. Prats wipes off tears quickly, has a glass of water, does her makeup a bit n opens the door.. Aziz tells her they need mangalsutra box.. Prats tells she will bring it down and tells him to go..
she gets box her heart feels heavy n heads towards stairs.. she reaches the stairs n starts climbing down.. Shanky luks up at her.. their eyes meet n her eyes start welling up with tears, her hands starts shaking n she feels room spinning, her eyes close down n she fells n rolls down the stairs.. Shanky sees her fall n hit the stairs hard.. blood oozing from her forehead.. shouts out loud "Prateeksha" n rushes 2 her from mandap breaking the phera tie.. Sumo is shocked n so is everybody else.. Prats is lying in a pool of blood... Shanky takes her head in his laps, pats her cheeks trying 2 keep her awake.. Prats luks at him with bloody teary eyes n feebly utters "Shashank" holds his hands, n passes out.. shanky feels something in his palms.. Aziz who had knelt down besides Shanky gets all worried and tries 2 warm her other hand.. Shanky asks him 2 get the car ready.. Shanky carries Prats to the car quickly n leaves the mrg hall..
Sumo gets up slowly shocked n feeling numb.. luks down n sees her dupatta is on fire.. she remembers all the apshaguns tht had happened so far n her weird dream last night.. Araina sees the fire n pulls off the dupatta from her.. Everybody is speechless.. Araina's mom tells her to take Sumo upstairs to her room..
Upstairs, Araina is all angry with Prats n blames her tht she cheated Sumo.. Sumo tells her sadly tht she feels its not the case.. she thinks Shanky is not meant 2 b hers.. tht they r sacrificing their luv 4 her.. n she exactly knows how they feel.. she tells Araina she wud never know how one feels hurt when one is separated from her luver.. coz she has never fallen in luv n experienced anything like tht.. A tear rolls down Araina's face as she remembers Ronak's words tht he respects her feelings bt he doesnt luv her.. n tht he luvs Jyoti.. she smiles off n tell 2 herself yes she understands it very well.. her heart says she shud support prats bt her mind says Sumo is her sister n she shud support her.. she goes n stands by the window all confused...
Shanky lays down Prats in hospital bed.. slowly pulls of his hand beneath hers n sees the other heart of pendant tht he gave to Prats last night.. he presses it tightly n puts it into his inner pocket of his Sherwani where the other one lied....
