Awesome updt sis i loved it plz continue soon.
I HAVE YASH'S PARENTS
I HATE ARPITA SHE'S A DISGUSTING wh**e I HOPE SHE ROT IN HELL.
I JUST WANT TO SLAP AARTI FOR THINKING HER MARRIAGE WITH YASH ITS A MISTAKES. AARTI IF YOU EVER SAY SUCH A THING I WILL PENAL BIT YOU.
While i have 2 go i have a date with Naruto Uzumaki at 5
I loved Tessa's comment, she captured all of the points of the update so beautifully. Bee a great update, and the very thing that Arti is trying to avoid, she is creating same by her actions or non-actions. She needs to assert herself and fully immerse herself as Yash's wife and the one he loves and wants to be with. I hope she does explore her suspicions about Arpita further and watch her very carefully to guard herself from falling prey to her evil schemes. I know there is going to be some heartache before ArYa are Abe to live their life together happily ever after. Please update soon.
Chapter 7
It was 6 months into their marriage and nothing much has changed. The Scindiya home was still fraught with tension. The only happy thing was that Pari and Prateek had finally had their wedding date finalised.
She was sitting having coffee with Pari after they had discussed her wedding ensemble that Aarti was going to design and make for her as a wedding gift.
"So Sweetie, are you ready to join the mad house."
"I am so ready, Bhabhi. I am in love with Prateek and I want to marry him. I know it's not going to be easy but I bet it will be easier for me than for you because I am not marrying the Scindiya heir. So they don't have such high expectations from me. Sorry, I know it doesn't make it any better for you."
"I suppose. Nonetheless, it's going to be so nice having you there. Another person in my corner."
"I will always have your back Bhabhi. And I might just put that Arpita in her place. Why is she always still there? Doesn't she get the picture?"
"Oh, believe me she does, she just stubbornly ignores it and she is encouraged by our in laws. I feel so sorry for Yash. He has such a stressful job and when he comes home, it is to more stress. I wish I could make it better for him."
"I am sure you do." Pari smiled and winked.
"Oh, Pari. You are so naughty. Not that. Though it helps a little" Aarti smiled. "But the tension runs deep and all he wants to do is protect me."
"And as your husband, so he should."
"I suppose so but still ... Pari, on the topic of Arpita, there is something that I just can't shake?"
"What is it?"
"The day that I lost the baby, Arpita called me to meet her and I was on my way there when I had that accident. Since then she had never brought up the subject of the meeting again. And I never asked. But I can't get it out of my mind. You don't think ... No, I shouldn't have brought it up."
"Bhabhi, it is obviously bothering you and I personally wouldn't put it past her. She gives me the creeps."
"Do you think I should approach her about it?"
"Do you think she would tell you the truth?"
"I don't know. I will think about it some more."
"Have you spoken to Yash bhayia about it?"
"No, I don't want to stress him out further."
"Ok, let me know if you need some help or maybe a hit man."
They both laughed.
Later that day, she called him.
"Thank, darling?"
"For what?"
"You know. It's so colourful and so big. It's like spring in my office. My favourite type of bouquet. So is that all I am getting for a 6 month anniversary gift."
"Of course not. Meet me at the flat after work."
"But Ma ..."
"I have already told her we won't be home for the evening."
"Ok, I look forward to it then."
"Me too. And I expect to be entertained for my 6th wedding anniversary so don't work too hard today, ok baby?"
"The same goes for you, sweetheart. I love you so much."
"I love you more. See you later and enjoy your day and your presents." He disconnected the call before she could ask about the plural of her present. But it soon became clear as the day progressed. She had hamper of all her favourite chocolates delivered. Then someone from her favourite jeweller arrived and she had her pick of jewellery, shortly after that, someone from her favourite shoe store rocked up and she had to choose what she liked. She was just had to laugh. She called him back.
"Taking the easy way out Mr. Scindiya. Making me choose my own gifts. For this you must be punished. Don't blame me when you see the amount of money you have spent in one day. Your wife has expensive taste."
"Oh I was under no illusion Mrs. Scindiya. I have known you long enough and I know your taste. Luckily I can afford you."
"Is that right?"
"That is quite right. But I am not doing all this for nothing you know."
"Ulterior motives, I see."
"My hard work has to reap rewards. That's business."
"Am I business then?'
"You are my business. My favourite project and the one where I reap the best and highest rewards from."
"I didn't get you anything, babe. But you have inspired me. I am stealing your idea,"
"What do you mean?"
"You will see. I hope I can pull it off. Love you. See you later."
He was highly amused when he too received a sales person from a shop.
"Sir, there is someone to see you. Your wife called to say to that you will see him."
"If she says so, then I guess that I will have to."
It was a salesperson from a lingerie shop.
"Sir your wife said, you can choose as many as you like. I will wait outside."
He nodded. It was a wide variety of things. Underwear, sleepwear, teddy's and baby doll dresses. From the cute to the uber-racy. He soon called the sales person inside.
"I am taking all of it. How much do I owe you?"
"Nothing sir. Your wife has already paid for everything."
He burst out laughing. She knew him so well.
He called her after thanking and greeting the salesperson.
"I love my gift."
"Good, you get to choose which one you would like me wear later."
"That will be difficult."
"Don't make your problems mine, Mr. Scindiya. You have wasted quite enough of my time today and I have to get things done. I have a hot date tonight."
"Then I won't keep you Mrs Scindiya. Good bye."
She came to the flat, he was already there. It was cold, so he had the fire lit and the table was set with what looked to be all her favourites. He came to her with a glass of champagne.
"Happy 6 month anniversary, my love."
"To you too" and they shared a lingering kiss.
"Sit down, let me serve you."
"No baby."
"Yes" he said and finally they sat together and ate. He fed her.
"Thank you so much for this honey."
"When you are happy, so am I? You see. Again, ulterior motives."
"I can live with it."
"Oh and you outdid yourself with my gift, darling."
"I know"
"We will have to take some home."
"We will definitely do that. Have you chosen one for tonight?"
"With great difficulty, yes."
They finished eating and he told her to take a shower, he had laid out her outfit for the evening.
"You are not joining me for the shower?"
"No, that would defeat the purpose of your outfit for later."
"Ok" she said and dropped her slip dress and walked to the bedroom in her underwear. It was with extreme effort that he did not follow her. He laid out a blanket in front of the fire place and scattered rose petals on it. He brought the ice-bucket with champagne and glasses closer and prepared some strawberries and cream for their dessert. He got undressed and waited for her only in his underwear.
She was extremely shy when she came out of the bedroom. His choice was a very racy see through red chemise with crotchless panties.
"Really? This is what you chose?'
"Well the aim was to have you looking sexy and not to remove anything. A happy compromise I would say. And a very, very, happy husband." he said as he made his way to her.
"Mmm, I can see just how happy you are" she said looking at his arousal.
"Well, I wanted show how much I appreciate your gift."
He swooped her up and carried her to the blanket and offered her champagne.
"No thank you. I want to stay sober for this."
The he offered her strawberries and cream. She took a strawberry, dipped it in cream and fed it to him. The evening just escalated from there. Their lovemaking almost getting hotter than the fire in the fireplace.
Much later they lay in each other's arms.
"You know what could make this even better, baby?"
"I didn't think it could get better. But what else would you like. Your wish is my command."
"It would be so great if we made a baby tonight."
"Yes, that would be awesome. But don't worry my darling. It will happen. I am confident of that. And maybe we should just keep working at it, he said pulling her on top of him."
"Of course, she said. And their lovemaking continued.
The next evening when she got home from work, as expected, her mother in law was particularly miserable with her.
"So did you have fun last night? I hope you enjoyed your evening while I had to all the work."
"But Ma, it was only you and Bauji here. Prateek comes home late from the restaurant."
"So that makes it ok for you to sleep out of the house?"
"She slept with her husband, Ma. You make it sound as if she went out and slept with a stranger." Yash got home just that time.
He kissed her in greeting, knowing that it grated his mother.
Let's go freshen up." he said to her.
"I will come help with dinner as soon as I am done, Ma."
"Don't bother."
He looked at her in the room.
"Yes, I know what you are going to say. Let me just rather keep the peace. Cooking is not the worst thing in the world. And I love cooking for you, my darling. And I am wearing one of your gifts underneath, so we can carry on from where we left off this morning."
"Buttering me up?'
"Yes."
"It's working. Now go before I change my mind."
She tried to make conversation with her mother in law.
"Ma, I am working on Paridhi;s wedding sari. I would like to make something for you too?"
"No thank you. I have my dressmaker.'
"Mine would be a one of kind. Do you know what one of my designs go for?"
"I've seen what you make. Like that ridiculous thing you got married in."
"It's different, Ma. What I make for shows are different than what I make for people to actually wear. My mother loves my clothes, I make her things in the style that she prefers but with my own touch. I can do the same for you"
"Still, I am not interested.
"Ok, I will make a few things for you. You don't have to wear it if you don't like it."
"Don't bother, I won't wear it."
Aarti carried on cooking, near to tears as she was dismissed again. All her efforts were always in vain. That was another reason why she wanted to fall pregnant. Maybe she produced a legitimate Scindiya heir, she would be more acceptable to them. But she knew even that was not a guarantee. She could stop trying like Yash wanted her to do. She was often on the verge of agreeing to his suggestion that they move out, but what would that mean if they had children. Would they never have a relationship with their grandparents? She felt hugely responsible for the relationship between Yash and his parents deteriorating. So she would keep trying.
Later that week, Arpita was there again. She made sure she got her alone. They were working she had decided to ask her about the meeting.
"Arpitaji, I wanted to ask you about that meeting you wanted with me?"
She stiffened visibly, even though she had her back to Aarti.
"What meeting?" she asked. But Aarti was not convinced of her ignorance.
"The one I was on my way to when I had the accident that day."
"Oh, that was so long ago. I forgot about it. I just wanted to talk to you about your relationship with Yash, but it doesn't matter anymore. You're married now."
"Yes we are. I am glad that you acknowledge that. Because I must say I wonder why you are still here so often when you no longer have a relationship with Yash and you know he is happily married."
"These people are like family to me. Do you have a problem with me coming here?" She said. Aarti shivered as she looked into her cold eyes.
"I don't have a problem, if you aren't under any illusion that you still have a chance to get back with Yash, because you must know that will never happen."
"Never. I don't know about that. Life is so unpredictable. Sometimes it doesn't work out like you thought it would. You can't plan on anything. Not even a long life. It can be snatched away in a moment. Sometimes your life changes irrevocably if you lose a family member or even more than one."
"Is that a threat Arpita?'
"No" her broad smile not reaching her eyes. "it's merely an observation."
"I'm sure." Aarti smiled back at her "It's could be observant. I must say that it was something that I lacked until just recently. In my innocence I took everyone and everything at face value, but not anymore. I will certainly be more on my guard from now on. I will not lose what is mine so easily again. I will protect it with all that is within me."
"Are you trying to tell me something, Aartiji."
"Not at all, just sharing my new outlook on life with a family friend." she smiled again. "Now if you will excuse me, my husband needs me. He can't stay without me too long you know. Then he gets grumpy and I have to work really hard to cheer him up. If you know what I mean" she looked knowingly at Arpita.
Aarti heard the sound of broken glass as she walked out of the kitchen. She turned back.
"Did you drop something, Arpitaji?"
"Sorry, the bowl slipped out of my hand."
"Accidents happen. I will get Ramsingh to clean it up."
Now that her worst suspicions were confirmed, Aarti was at a loss. Her demeanour and calmness with Arpita was deceptive. She could not believe she acted with such reserve with the murderer of her baby. She wanted to strangle her, but the fact that she could stand there calmly and still make veiled threats proved to Aarti that she was nothing more than a Psychopath. She didn't even show an ounce of remorse and this made her extremely dangerous.
She sat on the bed so deep in thought that she didn't even hear Yash calling to her as he came out of the shower.
"Sweetheart, where are you? I've been calling you but you're seem to be in another world."
"Sorry, love. I ... I am not feeling well. I have a splitting headache. Do you mind if I don't join the family for dinner tonight. I just want to rest. And Arpita is here and I can't face her and your mother feeling like this."
"I will go sort it out right now."
"No, baby. I want to do this. I have to step up and sort out this problem on my own. Only then will she take me seriously. It's about time."
"But you don't have to, Aarti. We are one, remember."
"I know, love. And knowing that you support me in everything makes all the difference. But this time, will you allow to fight my own battles and I promise if I need you, I will ask. Ok?"
"You're sure?"
"Absolutely."
"Should I bring you something to eat and some painkillers?"
"No, not necessary. I just need rest. I will eat later and if the headache persists, I will take something."
"Ok" he kissed her softly and left.
It was too soon. Now that she knew, she could not share a meal with her baby's murderer. And she could not share her knowledge with Yash and his family. She didn't know that they would believe her. It sounded bizarre even to her that someone can go through such lengths for a man. She was dangerous and Aarti needed to make sure that her family was safe. And for this she needed to keep everything close to her chest for the moment. Till she could figure out what she should do.
Arpita now knew that she was on to her. And she hoped she had pulled off the fearless persona earlier that she wanted Arpita to believe but truth be told she was paralyzed with fear. For her husband and her family. She didn't know where to start.
Yash came down to supper. It annoyed him that Arpita was there again. It annoyed him even more that his parents encouraged her to be here. How could they make his wife feel like an outsider always and welcome Arpita as if she was the daughter in law? No wonder she was at a point that she couldn't face them. But he sensed that she had a point to prove. And he was sure that the headache story was not true. But he couldn't blame her for her little white lie, given all she had to endure at this house. He hardly interacted with them, merely ate and went back to their room to check on Aarti. She was lying in bed quietly, not sleeping though. He kissed her on her forehead and left her to her solitude to go to his study and carry on working.
Aarti went about her day to day business. All the time wracking her brain as to what she could do to expose Arpita. The only thing she could think of was to become more and more openly affectionate to Yash in front of her. She got the idea from Arpita's reaction the day she confronted her. If the result of her eluded intimacy with her husband got that result, he could not imagine would actually seeing it would do. The drawback being that she would alienate her in laws even more. But it was a sacrifice she was ready to make for their safety. And she had to be strong and she needed Yash to buy into this new persona. It was who she used to be but since the loss of the baby and marriage she had changed. She just hoped it would work.
It was Prateek's birthday and they all had supper at his restaurant. Aarti decided to wear a western knee length red off the shoulder tight fitting cocktail dress with three quate sleeves. She knew Arpita would force invite as well. From the moment she arrived at the restaurant she began with her game of publicly seducing her already easy husband. She "stumbled" into Yash arms. She knew he was all hot for her since he saw her in this dress. He was lost in her eyes.
"Yash" his father shouted.
He straightened up and gave her a look.
"Sorry" she said but her look said something totally different. She could see how difficult the rest of the night was going to be for him. And she was sorry to do this to him but she would make up for it later.
They were shown to their tables and Yash was seated between Arpita and her. Just the way she wanted it. She started rubbing his thigh, so that it was visible to Arpita. He looked at her with wide eyes but she simply smiled at him.
"What are you doing?" he whispered.
She shrugged.
"You're playing with fire, Mrs. Scindiya." he whispered.
"Why is that" she said seductively.
He grabbed the hand that was on her thigh and held it.
"You're killing me."
"No, I need you very much alive for later. Just so you know, I am wearing one of your anniversary numbers underneath. Want to guess which one?"
"No!" he whispered back hoarsely.
"Chicken." she teased.
"Aarti ..."
"What are you and Bestie Bhabhi whispering there bhayia." Prateek asked aloud in a teasing tone.
"If we wanted you to know we wouldn't be whispering would we." Yash retorted.
Prateek laughed. Aarti took a quick squizz around the table. Her in laws looked on disapprovingly, Prateek and Pari were amused and Arpita looked at Aarti with pure hatred. And poor Yash looked in agony.
She did not let up all evening, leaning over him, touching him, tossing her hair around, exposing her bare shoulders and back.
As soon as it was polite he nearly dragged her out of the restaurant, his excuse was barely audible. He took the car and asked Prateek to bring their parents' home. And she was not surprised when they found themselves at the apartment and they did not make it further than the door. Afterwards he asked.
"What had gotten into your Aarti? Not that I'm complaining"
"I don't know, I just couldn't keep my hand off you tonight. You looked sooo hot tonight and I had been thinking about you all day."
"Aarti, this is not like you. Well not the new you. What's going on?"
"Oh, are you upset that I am like the Aarti that you couldn't get married to? You were constantly on at me about standing up for myself and being myself and when I do, you won't accept it." she said angrily.
"Honey, calm down. I didn't say that but it is a little confusing but not disappointing."
"So are we going to stand here and keep talking or can we move to a more comfortable spot where I can make the night torture up to you?"
"Lead the way, madam." he said and she led him to the bedroom.
As expected the next day at SM was unbearable with her in laws so she stayed at the office as long as he could.
Arpita was there again. She brought her mother in law a gift. As sari to wear to the Prateek's engagement. Her m-i-l raved about it. That was a direct slap in Aarti's face. She felt so hurt but she pretended that it didn't matter. But it was game on. Of course she stayed for supper, so Aarti put on her best game flirting and seducing Yash.
"So that is your way of getting rid of Arpita" he was on to her after he got his fill after another night enduring her excruciating public seduction, but he did not know to what extent she wanted to get rid of her.
"I don't know what you mean."
"I'm sure you don't. Nevertheless, it's ok. I don't mind. I am reaping the rewards" he said as they carried on with another night's lovemaking. "I might just invite her here every day."
"I will absolutely kill you if ..." he muzzled her words with a passionate kiss.
Slowly but surely Arpita's ugly personality came to the fore. She made various slip ups that was only noticeable by Aarti that was looking for it. She would quickly explain away an angry outburst, a violent action like banging her fist on the table with a smile to the rest of the family, but Aarti knew better. The cherry on the cake was the discussion that she had with Pari that she made sure Arpita overheard.
"Pari, I am so nervous."
"Why?"
"I missed my period"
"Omw, do you think ..."
"I am hoping. Ever since I lost the baby, I have been sort of hopeful and scared at the same time. But it will make my husband very happy. But what I want most is for a baby to cement my relationship with my in laws. I know they won't be able to resist their grandchild."
"I agree with you on that, Bhabhi."
"I haven't seen a doctor yet, but I don't ever miss my period so it must be that for sure. I will make an appointment and if you don't mind I was thinking of making an announcement at your engagement, making it a double celebration. That is if you don't mind. Please tell me if you do. It is your day after all."
"Oh Bhabhi, I am so excited. Of course I don't mind. I am going to be an Aunty!" She squealed excitedly.
"Shh ... it's a secret." Aarti said and they giggled and hugged.
Aarti, gave a quick look in the window where Arpita's eavesdropping figure was reflected. Her whole demeanour was one of rage. The look of cold hard hatred in her eyes made a shiver go through Aarti. She knew that this would draw her out. Just like it did the first time. She just hoped that everyone that she loved would come out of this unscathed and that Arpita would finally be exposed for the calculating psycho that she was and be removed from their lives. And they could move on be a happy family.
the plan was to end the whole story, but alas, i was not that fortunate.đOriginally posted by: Sharlene1410
