Sorry Bee, I had finished reading this but as usual didn't comment on time.
I'm loving this Aarti. She is confident and is a strong character. Too bad Yash didn't had it in him to stand against his family for his love. Prateek tried to Knock some sense in him but he wanted to remain a jerk. He only came to his senses when she became pregnant. Had she not being pregnant he would have stood there and watched her getting married to Prashant and then he would have married Arpita, who is a psycho (I'm sure she is behind the accident of Aarti).

I wouldn't have been surprised if he had gone for double wedding in the same Mandap.

Now that there is no more baby, what is he going to do now? Ask Prashant to marry Aarti so that he could marry that psycho and fulfill his parents wish 😡

Will wait to see how right or wrong I'm 😃

Awesome job as usual. ⭐️

Oh it's getting interesting, yes it's sad that she lost the baby but I do think it was too early and yet it was a waking call for Yash. On one hand I understand Yash having to follow his parents wish ( after all he is heir and he society is sometimes unforgiving. He wasn't completely wrong about her provoking ) but on the other hand now will see how he'll step up . Aarti will not make it easy for him . She is so hurt right now.
I also thought that something may happen when I read the wedding dress modeling scene but let's see. As for Arpita , she is not letting a small thing called "love" getting in her way. Hope she has not got too far yet. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Once again apologies for posting an unedited version.

Chapter 5

Aarti was in so much pain. She was poked and prodded and yanked in various directions. She remembered why she preferred to design clothes instead of modelling them. She was pulled in so tight although she was already so thin. She had lost so much weight since the miscarriage. She had a million and one pins in her hair and her head was throbbing. If this was not important to her career se would have just abandoned everything. She wanted to cry from all the pain.

But the dress was a masterpiece, even if she had to admit it herself. She had put everything she had into it. She need it to make her forget. She hardly slept for these past months. She would wake up in the middle of the night cry for the baby that she lost. And she missed him so much. She wished that he was there to put is arms around her and comfort her as he had done at the hospital. Ony he knew how she felt as they shared the loss. She had often taken her phone and was tempted to dial his number. But something kept her from calling. She was sure if it was pride, fear or pain or a mixture of it all. But she just couldn't.

Prateek and Pari were her pillars of strength in this time. They were always there for her. They would often sleep over is she needed it. Either of them would be there when she just needed a shoulder to cry on. And Prashant was a good friend to her as well. He always checked up on her and they had long chats and went out on a few occasions. But the topic of marriage never came up again.

She never had her discussion with Arpita. In fact she had never contacted her again. She sometimes wondered what she wanted to tell her that day. She had never had a conversation with her before. She obviously knew it had to do with Yash and her pregnancy. She knew that Yash had called off the wedding and would not go ahead even after the miscarriage. She often wanted to know if he really was just giving her time and space. Or was just his proverbial get out of jail free card. She had asked him to leave her didn't her. But if he loved her, then why did he not pursue her. Why did he not come to her? Why didn't he at least try? He told her that he loved her and would never let her go that last day that she saw him, but nothing since then. She didn't know if that made her more unhappy or if it was what she wanted. But surely he could at least try. Sometimes she was so angry with him. She hated him and she wanted to vent at him but he was not there. He was never there.

Now she was about to go on the stage. The dress was a fusion of western and indian. It was cream and gold coloured trim. It was a dress with a tight fitting top that ended just under her breasts. The back was near naked as it was only adorned with multiple gold straps. The skirt was low slung, tight around her top half and clocked out at the bottom, with a short train. She had an ethereal veil with the same gold trim as the dress. She looked at herself in the mirror. She eyes filled with tears. She had to admit she looked beautiful. The perfect bride. But she had no groom. There would never be one. It would only be her. There was no one but her in her life. The love of her life could never be hers. She looked her dress. He gave a grim smile as she thought that he would never approve of her in a wedding dress like this. It was not traditional enough. It was way too little fabric and showed too much of her body. He would probably have been angry at her again if he was there. No, it was the right decision that she made. There would always be a rift between because things like this. She would probably have gone traditional if she did marry him bit why even think about what could never be.

It was time. She had to go and do her walk on the ramp. She wasn't as nervous as she used to be when she modelled before. It just didn't mean as much to her as before. She walked on the runway and smiled and and turned and walked another time. She was the epitome of a professional model. The announcer was explaining the ensemble and that she was the designer as she stood at the front of the runway smiling. She got a standing ovation and the applause actually just aggravated her headache. Suddenly the applause died down and the crowd started to murmur. She didn't understand what was going on but she could see that they were looking past her. She wanted to remain profession and keep her pose but she was too inquisitive. She turned around and nearly stumbled in shock.

At the start of the runway, leaning against the wall was none other than Yash Scindiya. Her mouth hung open. Not only was her leaning non-chalantly against the wall he looked so incredibly hot. His colour scheme was the same as hers. His pants was cream but his "sherwani" was open and sleeveless, revealing his muscular torso and bulging arms. Her mouth was quite dry now. She wanted to look away but she couldn't. He looked back at her. She saw so much in his eyes. She saw regret, hope, expectation and most of all love.

He had taken the microphone from the presenter and walked to her.

"I told you that I would give you time. It has been 3 months now Aarti. I won't wait anymore, my love. You know I love you more than anything, even more than my life. I fell in love with you the first time I saw you and never stopped. But I have made so many mistakes, baby. Too many to mention but I am confident that my love is not only one sided. And that you can forgive me for my mistakes. Aarti, I love you. Every bit of you. Just the way you are. That crazy, zany, quirky, impulsive, creative, fun loving, beautiful person that you are. Everything you are and everything you do, makes you who you are. And all of it made you the person that I fell in love with. The person that I will love now and always. You are the person that I want to spend the rest of my life with. My heart belongs to only you. And you are part of me. You are perfect for me. You are the only fit for me. As I am for you. Without you my life will be incomplete."

He went down on his knee.

"Aarti, I love you. I love you. I love you. Please be my wife."

He had tears in his eyes.

She looked at him. If she couldn't breathe before, it had even became even more difficult. She felt dizzy. She felt like she was going to faint. She started swaying.

He got up quickly to catch her.

"Baby, are you ok." he said as he held onto her tightly. He head in her chest.

"I can hardly breathe." she said.

"Is that a good or bad sign?" he asked.

"You have time for jokes Yash Scindiya. Do you know how tight these clothes are and how tight my hair is tied? I am going to pass out."

"So it has nothing to do with me."

"It has everything to do with you. I was fine before you paraded yourself naked in front of the whole world. You know this event is televised, right."

"I know. And I want the whole world to know that you are mine. So just please say yes."

"Not until you cover yourself. All the women are drooling over you."

"Jealous?"

"No. There are just somethings in life that you don't share. And I won't share you with the whole world." She said, her head still in his chest.

"So is that I a yes?'

"No, where were you for 3 months."

"Giving you time and space. What you asked for? Can you say yes now, love. Everyone is waiting. Most especially me."

She smiled. She felt like she had finally come home. She understood what he was doing. He was declaring to the whole world that he wanted her. His attire was a declaration of the fact that he accepted her however and whoever she was. He was literally and proverbially baring all for her. He was declaring that he would meet her at her level, his status and ego was of no regard. She was the only thing that mattered.

"Yes" she whispered

"Sorry, I didn't hear that?"

"Yes: she said louder.

"What was that?' he said.

"Yes!!" She shouted.

"She said yes!" he shouted. There was an explosion of applause.

He picked her up and twirled her around.

"I love you. I love you. I love you!" he shouted.

She hugged him tightly.

"Baby, please stop. I am getting dizzy."

"Sorry, my love."

There were camera's flashing all around them.

"Can we go somewhere private?" she asked.

"We can go somewhere, yes."

He picked her up and walked with her through the crowd, still applauding them and cameras still flashing to his limo. She immediately started picking at the pins in her hair.

"No love. Just a little longer. Then I will help you with it."

"But ..."

"Not buts ... just once do as I ask, sweetheart."

"Ok." she pouted. She was too ecstatic to fight with him.

They stopped soon.

"Where we Yash. I want to go home and get changed."

"I am looking forward to undressing you too, but for now humour me love. And later, we will do anything you want. Everything you want in fact." he said and kissed her soundly.

They stopped into the hotel. She was still pouting. Till she saw a few familiar faces.

"Pari, Prateek? Mom and Dad? Yash what is this?"

"Now that you have said yes, I am not going to allow any chance to change your mind. This is our wedding."

"Now? Here? And our parents?"

"They have accepted that we can't live without each other."

She just smiled at him.

"Ok, then. We will be married. Lead the way my dear soon to be husband."

He took her face in his hands and kissed her. Then he took her hand and led her to the mandap. On the way there she noticed the dssaproving looks that were given by his parents. And she saw the look of hatred in Arpita's eyes. But right now she didn't care. All she wanted was to marry her man. She had finally acknowledged that he loved and accepted her and just he did, she wanted to get married to him. He was hers and she wasn't going to let him go again. Ever.

The rituals took place and the bride and groom could not keep their eyes or hands off each other. They took their parents blessings and they didn't stay long before they went home and did the home coming rituals. He immediately took her to his room afterwards. He wasn't allowing any long interogations with his family members as he knew she had a long day.

"Thank you. Baby. I am in so much pain. Please, you promised. Get me out of this."

"Ok, ok." he started to undo her hair.

"Awe, this feels so good she said as herhair fell loose. Now the top please." He loosened her top, freeing her breasts.

"Wow, baby I should have done this immediately."

"No, you don't. I am worn out. I was up early. And then you hijacked the fashion show and took me to an impromptu wedding. I am having a shower and going straight to bed."

"But sweetheart, this is our wedding night."

"I don't care. It's not like it will be our first time."

"But it's been so long, baby."

"Yash Scondiya, you have the rest of your life with me. So one night is not going to make a difference. And stop looking at me like a naughty child. In fact. I don't even want to shower. You go. I just wanr to get to bed. Go now. Good night." she said as she removed her skirt and got under covers.

He was very disappointed as he walked to the bathroom. This was not the way he thought this night would end. But he understood that she was tired. But that never stopped her before. She normally had boundless energy. He got in the shower and started washing. He was so frustrated. He turned the hot water off completely and only stood in the cold shower with his eyes closed.

"Is it so bad that you need a cold shower, husband of mine." he heard the same time as he heard the shower door open.

He opened his eyes and beheld the perfect vision of his naked wife. He was speechless.

"No words I see. Did you really think I would leave you alone on my wedding night?" she stepped into the shower and gasped as the cold water hit her body.

"I love you, Mrs Scindiya." he said as he started kissing her. I should have known better, my apologies." he said as he lifted her onto his erect manhood, the cold water obviously had no effect on him.

"No foreplay?"

"None at all. As I said earlier, it has been way too long and you my dear are more than ready."

"You got that right" she said as they started his erotic movements. She screamed in absolute pleasure. And he groaned as he experienced equal amounts of pleasure and screamed too as they found there release."

"I love you." they both said as they slumped in each other's arms.

Finally they were happy and together. Perfectly in love and enjoying the fruits of that love. Nothing could go wrong now. Surely?

that has got to be my most fav part of the whole update!it's exactly what this beautiful story was about. True love that is perfect in its imperfection, one that accepts wholly all imperfections and make them beautiful!

Aarti's response had me cracking! of course she wants him all to herself, not parading her goods to the whole wide world! but she understood it was his way of proclaiming his love and marking his territory good and well!

as for the wedding night🤢

but what was that last??? nothing could go wrong, surely?? looks like foreshadowing to me😕
what the hell was that witch Arpita even doing at their wedding??????? I do not have a good feeling about this at all!

the forewarning aside, I really just loved it! I got teary and laughed too! beautifully done Honey-Bee🤗

won't say soonest of soon! but make it sooner than soon too!😡😛😆

Finally a public declaration of love and a wedding too. I surely hope no matter the probability of something happening as alluded in the end, their love will surely keep Aarya together.
