In defense of the CVs

One question that bothers me is 'why are all so upset with the CVs skimming over what they had intended for the show until the very end?'
Very often I skim through reading material when I do not have time to read - be it a novel or subject related text. Once I know where the meat of the content lies - I focus on those pages.
Are not the CVs doing something similar right now?
I understand the kidnap of Aayu is very difficult to accept - I find it hard too - but is not life not full of drama? Is that not how God created this world - ephemeral tragedies and sorrows intermingled with happiness and joy? Do things always pan out in a logical manner - is not creation the best example of how functional chaos theory can be?
Our CVs too have borrowed a leaf from chaos theory and given us what appears a mish-mash at this phase because they are skimming through those chapters that we cannot read and digest at leisure!

Chaos theory is perhaps the only thing that can provide an explanation to all that is going on. Underneath every chaos, there is a pattern, a discernible order, and every order has entropy built into it. This is the way the jagat works.

So true and so insightful!

True, that the CVs do not have time now but there is one flaw here! When a reader skims through certain chapters is the reader's choice. But the writer does not have that liberty...the writer writes the book in detail as it should be! So as viewers, it is our choice if we choose to skip certain episodes because they are too much for us, but the creatives do not really have that choice...they should show the whole story explained well! Otherwise, the viewer can reject...don't we throw aside books which do not appeal because they are written badly?

I do not understand why they have to cram all this into 3 weeks. If PV1 is their baby, so is PV2...they could easily work in the ideas and tracks they could not show here into their second take on the same subject...why this mish-mash at all? They have the power to show what is necessary depending on the timing, so it would have been better to keep it simpler, have Ishita exposed in some way and conclude on a positive note, if not a perfect one!

Shobs -
good point!
However in this situation it is not the writer or the CVs who have deprived the viewers of the choice to skim - it is the TV Channel.
The TV Channel has perforced the writer to only show segments of the storyline so the writer or CV are skimming through the material.
These issue cannot be shown in PV2 as they are unique to AarYa. PV2 is not AarYa's story!

Meena, I really wonder if the channel writes out what to show! 😆 I am sure the channel is least interested if Aarti and Yash characters are shown as they are being now...actually I feel the channel is not really interfering much now, that is why we got those 2 intense episodes...which would have made sense sometime earlier in the story but not now, when it is about to end. There is no time to explore the concepts shown right now, so why show a half-hearted, half-baked story...why not keep it simple and straight and end the show on a good note, rather than pissing off the audience?

As to PV2 not being AarYa's story, fine, I agree...but it is the concept of Punar Vivah again and there are common problems faced in most remarriages, so I am sure the creatives can find a way to weave in what they want into that story. They are not called the "creatives" for nothing! 😉

To tell the truth - I have no clue if the Channel is interfering or not - so you may be right. Nevertheless one thing is certain the Channel does want PV1 to end!
RE: Keeping the story simple or full of angst is a choice that the CVs were faced with. They took a gamble and chose angst - so one can only hope they show resolution in a super creative way so as to qualm the angst!
