Zee Caf 'Red Widow'

You might have seen some lighthearted comedy shows on Zee Caf such as The Big Bang Theory, FRIENDS , and Just for Laughs: Gags. But this time Zee Caf is all set to bring in an American drama television series. Yes, it is action-packed drama series and is called as "Red Widow". The title of the show might have given your some hints about the story line, but let's try to find out more about this new series.

The series is based on a Dutch drama series titled Penoza. Did you think that only Bollywood has the right to get inspirations? Well, let's get back to the plot of this series. The series stars Radha Mitchell as Marta Walraven, a housewife from Northern California whose husband, a figure in organized crime, was killed. She soon finds out that her husband and her brother had to pay some debt to the mob, and hence after her husband is no more; she is now the one working for the mob to pay it back.

When Marta attempts to deliver the money to Nicholae Schiller, played by Goran Visnjic, the man her husband owed money to, she finds that the only way to protect her family, and get her brother out of jail is to join the mob, and import what they want her to. The story gets even more interesting when she gets hold of a flash drive, which might contain some important documents. So will this flash drive help her to gather proof against the mob? Well, for that you will have to watch the show on Zee Caf.
