This was something I was meaning to post a little while back but kept forgetting to:

I don't think Yash and Aarti will ever drop the jis from each other's names even though people have been hoping for quite some time. I honestly don't mind if they keep calling each other Aartiji and Yashji. It's been over a year and despite their comfort and close relationship with each other, I find them calling each other with the ji endearing. It's a bit formal but it's completely AarYa. That formality they have in calling each other by their names added with the ji does not mean that their relationship is formal. You'd think that with so much growth in their relationship they would be more comfortable with calling each other just simply Yash and Aarti. I don't have a problem with it since this relationship is quite different from their previous relationships and since they started out calling each other Yashji and Aartiji, I believe old habits die hard and this habit of theirs isn't dying anytime soon 😆. Still it's a nice contrast to Vidhi's calling Pankaj just Ji and Prateik and Paridhi's calling each other by just their names. They fit into the middle, the center, the nucleus of sorts, just as they themselves have been for this family.

P.S. I read in the MF that Yash mentioned just Aarti, without the ji, when he was talking to Prateik. I don't think he'll ever address her face to face without the ji.

Hey all! 😊 I'm a little exhausted tonight, but I really enjoyed the episode. I agree with most of what I'm seeing on the main forum. The good stuff for me:

1. Sharper evidence of Yash and Aarti's deepening love for each other. From their absolute best attempts to stay together for the night; to his kiss on her hand came that across as really spontaneous; to Aayu's absolutely adorbs wink of approval (reflex action by the baby but so perfectly timed); and to Aarti's enthralled "Yashji!" after Radha teased her, wishing that they'd always love each other. Aayu's birth seems to have ruptured a dam of physical and emotional expression. Bring it on, writers, bring it on! 😉

2. A more alert Yash and Aarti around Ishita. They've run into too many duplicitous people within their family in the recent past to be written as "clueless" when they're not, so this is good progress by the writers that Aarti reels back when Ishita tries to touch the baby and Yash confronts her about it, opting not to comfort her when she cries even if it's his instinct to be sympathetic. They don't know the full truth, but suspicions are heightened and the writers need to make it count. I do think Aarti will be much more hyperaware than Yash, and I don't mind that he's civil to her in the later scenes with the kids, but I really hope the writers to keep him alert in his own way (and preferably avoid having her "trip" around him; there's only so many times she can try that nonsense and it works).

3. Akash's onscreen time given in increments and I'm grateful for it. Ironically, he has accurately assessed that Ishita's explanation for taking Aayu was full of crap. However, he doesn't realize his own assumption is far off the mark. Interestingly, he's trying to actually make this marriage work. Well, the physical/sexual part of it anyway.

4. A revisit of classic Yash, Prateek and Pankaj fraternity, using the natural chemistry between Gurmeet, Rakesh and Dishank. 😆 I've missed their scenes together.

5. Ansh, Palak and Payal undermine Ishita with their natural bluntness over her overdressing and her bad cooking. Since she didn't get the hint when she saw Aarti's picture (as Ansh opened the door) that she's trying to trespass on a very much alive marriage and family, the kids let her know, in their own way, that she's not their Mom and she's out of her depth. I also enjoyed watching their earlier excitement about Aayu. That whole scene on Aarti's hospital bed was cute!

Only complaint: Ishita's screen time and internal chatter is still too much for me. She is effectively killing her own scenes. My hope is that the EPs and the writers figure out, sooner rather than later, that they need to reel her airtime in. Give her shorter shots and less internal yapping.

Loopholes I'm willing to overlook: I suspect the original plan was to have Ishita take the baby to a mental asylum as the spoiler said, but they did a quick change and went with Aarti discovering her instead. The change was a smart move, but the unfortunate fallout is that we had some inconsistencies, such as Aarti walking around after seeming a little weakened in the previous scene, lol. I suppose we need to chalk it up to the adrenaline rush of her maternal instincts. Also, since the baby should be in an incubator, it flies against logic that the doctor will allow him to stay with Aarti simply on Yash's request (although they could bring it up later on if they need a medical-related Aayu arc in the near future). 🤔 I don't know how practical this would be, but one possible solution could have been having the doctor say she's requesting one of the incubator units to be moved to Aarti's room so that Aayu could placed in it. Call it a special privilege or something, but that loophole can easily be addressed. But it is what it is.

Minu, enjoyed your review and that cap. Such a fun scene.

Nina, true. Today, Yash did say "Aarti" when speaking to Prateek. But, IA, I don't see him saying "Aarti" to her face unless it's in an emergency (like the lemon scene). At one point, I also wanted to see the "ji" removed in their address to each other. But it's become so second nature for them now that I really think I would miss it if they didn't say it. I understand that on the surface there's a formality attached to the titles, but for them there's a great deal of affection and naturalness attached to it now. If they drop the "ji" tomorrow, I'd be fine with it, but I'm very content that they've kept it. 😃

I did Jac and after a long while, I was actually very very satisfied. I know Ishita is being a pain but it was fun to watch all her plans failing. Plus the kids were back! How could I not like the episode? <3

And of course, AarYa were just too darn cute! They are constantly craving for each other. Hee. I think the Mittals have finally upped their game, and if they continue to go according to what they have shown yesterday, there is no doubt about it that our TRPs would improve. They might not skyrocket but there would surely be a rise. I do agree with you though, they can cut down on the self-talk by Ishita but hey! They did cut down on Akash's screen-space by a huge margin in yesterday's episode so I guess I shouldn't complain. One step at a time maybe? =P

The kantaap was the BEST! 😆 And like all of you, even I am happy that AarYa have finally started doubting Ishita's intentions, especially Aarti. If the spoilers are anything to go by, seems like Aarti wouldn't even allow Ishita to be anywhere near Aayu. Good going my JKR! Oh and is it me or was Kratika literally glowing in the episode! <3 Such a beauty! <3

Anu, today was like a breath of fresh air and I really hope it continues. Ansh, Palak and Payal absolutely rocked this episode (along with their little brother who was bright-eyed during parts of the episode). I remember referring to them as a little army the other day and they proved that here as well with Ishita. But they also are so ready to embrace the new "soldier" in their family army.

Oh yes, craving is the right word for them right now. ☺️ I'm looking forward to tonight's episode when Aarti catches the "doctor" red-handed. 😆 On the second bold, IA. The Mittals seemed to have gotten their battle gear on. I saw such a reminiscence of the PV from early last year in this episode in the writing and relationships. I would like to think that our TRPs will indeed improve, Anu, if the Mittals continue this trend. IA, the TRPs, as unpredictable as they can be, might not be through the roof, but we could definitely see a nice, respectable upswing. Word on Akash's screen-time! The incremental use of his time was really good. For now, I admittedly understand that they may not be able to manage that kind of incremental use much with Ishita in every episode because they are working through this obsession phase of hers, but it would still be nice to see a measured approach soon enough. So, yes, one thing at a time and I'm grateful for small mercies! As long as the writing keeps up the really good stuff they did in this episode in future episodes, then I'm good! 😃

I actually forgot to mention that slap in my reaction! I was just amazed Kratika could manage holding the baby -- a live baby not a doll as a double as far as I could tell -- and enacting the slapping motion at the same time, lol. But it was a well-timed slap there. Of course, Ishita covered her butt, but Aarti's maternal instincts were on red alert, refusing to let Ishita even touch the baby. And it does seem that the wife in her is going to be red alert soon enough. On the bold, Kratika has truly been glowing these days -- so, so pretty.

EEPS! You had to mention that, didn't you?! I saw Aayu winking as well! And that was sooo cute, I swear, the baby is going to give our leads a tight competition when it comes to cuteness! <3 Ahaan, I like the term army. They indeed are like an army and it's amazing to see them protecting their innocent daddy dearest! I hope this army would be the one who would help in unmasking Ishita. 😛 Can't wait to see more of Ishita's plans failing and some cute moments between Aayu and his siblings and Aayu and his parents! <3

I saw such a reminiscence of the PV from early last year in this episode in the writing and relationships.

Word on that. I think it's mainly because we got to see AarYa's interaction with the people who they are actually close to (read: Pankaj and Prateek). I can't tell you how happy I was to see Prateek and Pankaj (especially Prateek) being given lines (LOL) and indulging in some teasing. Wasn't that how things were before the 2 troublemakers had entered the picture? As for Ishita, I see where you're coming from and I feel the same as well but like you have said, since the CVs are working on Ishita's obsession, I guess we would see some Ishita-centric scenes but as long as Yash and Aarti don't act like fools and ensure that none of Ishita's plans work, I am fine. *prays for a rise in our TRPs* EEKS, I wonder how Aarti would react when she sees Yash as well! Not hoping to see much because I don't want to be disappointed! 😛

I was just amazed Kratika could manage holding the baby -- a live baby not a doll as a double as far as I could tell -- and enacting the slapping motion at the same time, lol.

Ahaha, I meant to mention this as well! It is really amazing, the way Kratika handles the baby - I bet if Gurmeet were to do that scene, he would be shivering! 😆 Ishita's excuse was so lame, I am surprised that Yash was actually being polite when she was AarYa's the room with him. Guess that's how Yash is, bet Aarti is not going to be that forgiving though! 😉

What a lovely episode last night! Once again, CVs know how to make us feel good and it did not have be all-romance but those little husband-wife moments in a crowd like that. Even AkShita presence did not irritate me that much. Isn't it ironic that with every plan Ishita tries, it's Aakash who is reading it wrongly and is bringing him closer to her😆..

That brotherly fight was very much missed and such a delight yesterday. It's one of the bonding that we have always loved from the beginning. I'm so happy that the old teasing Prateik is back, that too shamelessly with his brother and SIL. That role should always stay with him.

Ishita's misdeeds are becoming unforgivable with every move. I wish there's also some point where in aside from AarYa becoming suspicious, the other's will notice her odd behavior. Even the kids noticed how she's all decked up.😉

Observing about how the story has been quite unstable since Gyatrima's death, i can't help but think that our CVs had to make that one up in a jiffy since ZP's knee surgery was ASAP. I'm sure they had something more in store at that time but needed revision to the story at the last moment. Now, i feel the story is back on track.

P.S how cute Yash was when he was grinning silly upon being questioned by Radha ma looking for nothing in the drawer and Aarti, yay! endearing in her wanting for Yash to stay. AarYa love has always been tempered on the outside but unbridled on the inside☺️

That baby is just so adorbs. True on him giving our leads a little battle there. Now, if Ansh, Palak and Payal inadvertently manage to make Ishita show her hand, then I would actually love that because they're kids and they ironically seem to catch her off-guard much more than adults. Like you were saying, her excuse was so full of it. I'm not sure that Yash actually bought it, but it seemed more expedient for him to just leave well enough alone and let Akash take care of her. You mentioned being surprised that he was so polite later on. I noticed that too. I would like to think he hasn't completely put any doubts out of his mind, but I've got to admit that he tends to let things fly by. But, IA with what you said on Aarti being the first one to hone in on Ishita's true agenda. There's a reason why Prateek calls Aarti his "gundi bhabi", so Ishita really has no idea what she's playing with right now. 😆 I just hope the writers allow Yash to be alert in his own way as well when she's in sniffing distance, allowing anything odd she does to re-trigger the angst he felt when he found out she took Aayu.
I think it's mainly because we got to see AarYa's interaction with the people who they are actually close to (read: Pankaj and Prateek). I can't tell you how happy I was to see Prateek and Pankaj (especially Prateek) being given lines (LOL) and indulging in some teasing. IA, Anu! I think that's exactly it. Our viewing history for PV has always involved Prateek and Pankaj in relation to Yash and Aarti, and we're understandably more attached and understanding of their presence. It's not that I cannot accept new entrants, but I think these established relationships cannot be duplicated. Prateek, especially, sometimes seems more invested in Yash-Aarti's marriage than his own, 😆, so it's so cute to see him tease them and have a little fun. I would love for them to have some serious, commisseration-type conversations soon too in the near future, like they used to have prior to Yash and Aarti getting married.
*prays for a rise in our TRPs*
Yeah, I've made up my mind that we're going to have to bear with some of it for now. I wish we didn't have to, though, lol. On the bold, I'm with you on that. As long as Yash and Aarti remain sharp and clever versions of themselves, then that will do a world of good for me as a viewers as well. I hope it will do the trick with the TRP viewers too. *hoping and praying along with you*
Ahaha, I meant to mention this as well! It is really amazing, the way Kratika handles the baby - I bet if Gurmeet were to do that scene, he would be shivering! 😆
Kratika's handling of the baby is certainly impressive. Didn't she say in a recent article that before she started PV, she didn't like kids so much? Look at her now! She's great with Divyam, Palak and Drithi, and now with this baby. Oh my goodness, Gurmeet! I had no idea he was scared to hold babies. 😆 He's been doing a good job so far, though. It makes me want to see a scene with just Yash and Aayu, like the Yash falling asleep with Aayu in his arms. Something along those lines. Great way for Gurmeet to conquer his fear, lol.
P.S how cute Yash was when he was grinning silly upon being questioned by Radha ma looking for nothing in the drawer and Aarti, yay! endearing in her wanting for Yash to stay. AarYa love has always been tempered on the outside but unbridled on the inside☺️
Enjoyed your review/reaction, Enid. On the bold, IA. And that's the striking part of the episode with Yash and Aarti as well. We're seeing that internalized unbridled love burst to the surface in spontaneous spurts. That was such a fun scene.
EDITED TO ADD: Must head to bed now. I'll catch up with you all later. 😃

(reposting from DC)

I so enjoyed last night's episode! 😃
I can now say that I have another reason to keep on smiling!
A good Monday episode indeed..

I hope this is just the appetizer of the coming next episode..

It was a good start seeing Aarti's slap to a surprised witch!
Ishita deserves that kantapp that she got from our JKR.
A natural reaction of a mother who are in pain and very much worried to where her son is.
She didn't even want Aayu to get separated with her, what more that she found out that he was missing!

BTW, did she had a normal delivery or a C-section?

If it's normal, then I will not question about Aarti's walking alone despite her condition coz I myself have done it. I guess it depends on the strength of the woman. Aarti had her second delivery, so maybe she already know how to handle herself.

But if it's a C-section, it's another story.. 😕

And one of my concern is Aayu, is it ok for a pre-mature not to put in an incubator even in one night?

Well, City hospital has a magic of its own, so there's nothing to doubt about it..
Better to put the logic aside and focus on the entire story..

The part that I love the most is the hospital room scene, wherein the kids got to see their youngest baby bro! And their reactions, and wanting to take care of Aayu was so delightful to watch!! LOL to their reaction when Prateek told them about cleaning his poty. They're so cute!!!

Oh, Ishita got another scolding from our Hulk! She deserves it!
And it doesn't end there! For the thought of making Yash fall on to her, she shed her crocodile tears! But good to see that Aakash was the one who have fall on it. Again, Ishita's plan failed! LOL to her disappointed face..

It was so hilarious when both Aarya talk through sign language, when the nurse said that only one should stay and Aarti want it to be Yash. But the P brothers saw it and don't let it happen, making Radha stay.
I so love this scene, Aarya's reaction was so natural! The eagerness of wanting to be with each other is so cute!!

Kratika and Gurmeet nailed it! What a chemistry!
Hats off to their realistic act..

I also loved the bonding of the three brothers. I just hope we will always see them like that..

And oh, how can I forget the kiss!!! The hand kiss!!!
Such a good timing!!!

Can u imagine a viewer, giggling and very much happy because of Aarya's only "hand kiss"?? What more if its on forehead or in cheek??!!
PVians Deads!!! 🤢 Can't wait for it (if that will happen)..

Oopps, Ishita's story was still on the roll!

She thought she was already free to let Yash fall on her evil plan since Aarti was not around, but look who's there to protect him, the kids!!!

I so loved how the kids always interrupt her whenever she's planning to get close to YAsh. Her plan of making him to open the door, letting him to eat and making him alone with her was all flop!! Thanks to the them who manage to keep a wall for Yash..
And the food, hahah, I must say , kids are always good on telling the truth. What they felt and what they want to say is what u can always hear from them..

This seems a very good track, seeing the kids around, and Aarya's longing for each other and Ishita's failing plan!!!
What more can I say...

I love this track, I just hope CVs will continue to show this kind of story-telling and not letting it to end soon
I still trust them and always will..

This is all for me, after a long time.. Hope it made sense!

Have a Great Day Everyone!!
😳
Sending good vibes to all...
