After all these months of watching PV, the one thing I am most sure of is that Aarti is one who is a good human being, who loves unconditionally, and one who also reacts to situations first and thinks about the consequences second.
She did nothing out of the ordinary today either. She gets an emergency call from Ansh, in which he was in clear panic, so her first reaction is to be alarmed. Ansh tells her two very important things that influenced the way she reacted: Prashant and Ansh were home alone, and Prashant had collapsed. Tell me why she would wait till Yash returned to get to Ansh? Ansh is her first priority at this moment and I think to avoid any questions from the Scindias or even to avoid weaving another web of lies about why she has to leave, she just left.
I am thankful that Yash realized it must've been an emergency that led her to leave like this and that SP mentioned she is responsible and will return.
No matter what Prashant did to Aarti, Aarti being a human did the humane thing and helped out Prashant ...but factors like Shobha lying to her and that Prashant has cancer are all news to her. She must've been reeling from shock after shock and just had to get to the task at hand rather than sit and worry about how Yash doesn't know. Yash will know later but right now Yash is healthy and safe, and Prashant is suffering. Who do you think she would help? In terms of human to human, not ex-husband to ex-wife.
