It does not really matter to me because essentially it was important to show Arpita and Yash relationship thus his attachment. Similarly we must realise that Arti had loved Prashant before so there must have been some good times associated with this love (which we see in the FB). But in the end we know that ArYa will be forever so no probs here. 😉 Just my POV no offence to anyone
