I can understand Pankaj's anger...

I know many in this forum are angry at Pankaj for blaming Aarti without knowing the facts, just like Gayatri, but thinking about it from his perspective I feel that his anger is a bit justified. We all know Aarti was not at fault if the fire is the reason for Yash's anger (though it's true that she was careless with the geyser), but whatever is the reason Pankaj is Yash's elder brother. Just like Yash is protective of Prateik, even Pankaj must be protective of Yash. I think his instinctive protectivess as the eldest brother made him a bit frustrated for not knowing the reason of his little bro's pain, and since Aarti was the only one present at Mumbai, it's logical to think that she'd know something. Yes, we all believe Aarti that she doesn't know anything (though I do find it a bit unbelievable myself), but how can the Scindiyas be so sure? Yash left their house in a normal state of mind and returned highly affected, and in their eyes Aarti should know the reason. It's not an illogical expectation either, because aren't a wife and husband generally accountable for each other's mental and physical wellbeing? What I am annoyed at Pankaj is that he kind of talks down to Vidhi, but for that Vidhi too is responsible because as we've seen in the past, she kind of distanced herself from her husband to take care of their children and family responsibilities. Pankaj does not feel his wife loves him anymore so I guess it's a natural reaction to be bitter towards her, but Vidhi was being practical this time so Pankaj should have given value to her words.

Thanks Thush, I'm glad you agree.😆
I know, even I would have acted the same if I was in Pankaj's place. I mean...come on, logically who would we trust? A sibling we've grown up with for almost 30 years or a sister-in-law who been part of the family for just a few months? Pankaj's reaction was totally natural.

If I knew my sibbling was as abnormal as Yash has been lately, I'd not trust him (love him but not trust him)
Regarding Pankaj and Vidhi, he has not yet been able to understand Vidhi as well. He complains that she is too involved in household duties despite knowing his mother is and has been a bully to her daughters-in-law.

I completely agree with you. Being an elder brother his concern towards Yash and his frustration towards Aarti are quite justifiable. We have sympathy with Aarti because we are viewers and we know all the sides but looking at the POV of Pankaj, how is he supopose to know or beleive. Vidhi believes in Aarti because she alsways looked at her as her sister and she always had a good rapport with Aarti and she knows Aarti more than any other person in the family. For others, I would just say they are blind folded with their son's love so they are being a bit illogical at times. But I really think the reactions are justified. As far as Gayatri is concerned she was always a bit over protective about his sons, just like Aarti is with Ansh, and so when it comes to her sonss' happiness or pain, she forgets all the logic. I truly saw a helpless mother in yesterday's episode. Kinda felt sympathy for her. She's a mother, how can she see her son in that condition.

I agree with you. However, I didn't like the tone in which he said that at all - sometimes that overprotectiveness can lead you to believe only one side of the story when I'm sure there's definitely another side to it. Pankaj probably acted like any older brother would have having seen the condition Yash is in and Aarti is taking way too long to reveal what happened.

^^ I agree with both of you. I think everyone's reaction so far (except BOA of course) has been justified. Though Gayatri is a possessive mother, even Aarti is like that at times so if we can forgive it in Aarti, we should forgive it in Gayatri too as long as she doesn't treat aarti horribly. Her concern over Yash is not unrealistic but the way she treats Aarti is unfair.
And yeah, Pankaj may have given Aarti a chance if she revealed the truth quickly, but she's taking too long and soon, even Mr. Sindiya won't believe her.😔
