Just The Way You Are
AarYa have been hitched for 11 months & after much deliberation and disinclination both have started falling for each other . They are yet to confess their love to each other but have manifested in numerous ways. Maybe they want to give one more month to confess , ie , on their First Anniversary.
AarYa are on their way back to Scindiya house after attending Yash's cousin's marriage. Nobody except the kids accompanied them because Papa Scindiya doesn't want the business to suffer. Aarti is in terrible , awful mood & Yash is uncertain about the reason.
They reach home.
"Welcome!"
"Maansi! You here? How come?"
"How rude of you Aarti! No hi no hello , direct.."
"Achcha Achcha Im sorry. I was just shocked to see you here."
Yash enters with kids.
"Ohh hello my handsome jiju! How are you?"
"Im good Maansi ji! How about you? When did you return from South Africa?"
"Yesterday only. Was yearning to meet the kids , thought I should give you all a surprise.
"Good! You both talk I shall meet everybody at home. Coming back home after a week!"
"Sure!"
Aarti quickly says , "Maansi! Im coming in few minutes. You enjoy with kids. "
"Ok Aarti madam." , says Maansi.
Aarti leaves & runs to Yash.
"Yash ji! Nobody at home really likes Maansi. Specially Mummy Ji. If you don't mind may I take her to a cafe? Only if you allow."
"Why would I say no Aarti ji? Shall I drop you both?"
"No we'll manage! Umm'.Bye."
"One second Aarti Ji! May I ask you something?"
"Hmm?" , Aarti nods her head.
"Whats wrong Aarti ji? You look sad? Have I done anything wrong?" , asks curious Yash.
Aarti stares him ignoring his question & runs out without answering.
Aarti & Maansi in the cafe.
"What is it Aarti?"
"What?"
"Whats wrong with? Im noticing it since morning. You had a fight with him? "
"No! Im very happy with Yash ji , He is very kind. There is something else , something thats really annoying me. Shall I ask you something?"
"Yup"
"Have I gained weight after marriage?"
"I don't think so. Even if you have it would hardly be a couple of Kg's ! But why are you asking?" , says Maansi calmly.
"At Yash ji's cousin's marriage , everybody was busy comparing me with Arpita. She was very fragile unlike me. One more thing , Paridhi forcefully gave me her dress to wear at reception. I couldn't fit into that." , cries Aarti.
"Oh Madam! Are you comparing yourself with that matchstick?" , laughs Maansi.
"Maansi She is my beloved devraani!" , shouts Aarti.
"Ok ok ! Im sorry about that but my pint is she's short , very lean & very young! Don't forget you are a mother of 7 year old boy."
"But Im a newly wedded too. I mean'"
Maansi interrupts , "Oh ho! Now I got that ! So Aarti ji is in love with Yash ji & she is trying see herself from his perspective."
"Hmmm!" , murmurs Aarti.
"So You have fallen in love with him?"
"You are not getting my point."
"Firstly answer my question."
"Umm yes! But Im feeling very low now. Help me na" , cries Aarti.
"Ok! Ok Chill !" , Maansi pacifies Aarti.
Two weeks pass by.
Scindiya Mansion
Yash is busy with his files while he hears a knock at the door. Ignoring who is knocking he plainly says , "Come in."
Vidhi & Paridhi enter.
"Vidhi bhabhi! Paridhi! You here? everything's fine?"
Vidhi looks tensed . She says , "Yash bhaiya we actually want to talk about Aarti. Is anything wrong between you two?"
"Bhabhi trust me Im out of clue. Even Im confused to see her vary. She doesn't talk properly , doesn't eat properly ! Just engages herself with the kids. I don't understand whats the problem."
Paridhi interrupts , "I think she's developing inferiority complex in herself. She looked very gloomy when she returned my dress after you came from the wedding ."
Yash who is still puzzled asks , "Really? I doubt that."
"But Im sure bhaiya. I have an idea ." , says perky Paridhi.
Vidhi & Yash ask & she narrates her master-plan. All look contented.
Couple of weeks pass by & their first anniversary approaches. The night before their anniversary Yash pleads Aarti to accompany him to a place. Aarti obliges without asking about the place. She gets ready & sees Vidhi-Panku & PraDhi accompanying them. She looks bewildered but caries on. Everybody joins in the same car , an SUV. After about half-an hour they reach a posh area & park their car outside a club.
Everybody looks happy while Aarti is completely mystified.
She asks Vidhi , "Bhabhi its a discotheque! What are we doing here?"
Paridhi hears her & interrupts , "Aarti Bhabhi its not a disc but a decent club, famous for its karaoke system. You so gonna love it!"
Everybody enters the club & have their seats on their reserved table. After some snacks Prateek gets up & goes to the stage to sing. He sings Richard Marx's "Now & Forever". After the song Panku gets inspired & goes to stage to sing , "Chaudhvin ka chaand" for Vidhi. All cheer for him & place gets filled with hooting & clapping! For a moment Aarti forgets her gloominess & starts smiling , clapping!
After the song Pankaj comes to the table & points at Yash , "Your turn majle!" Everybody at table starts forcing him. Yash gets up & before going to the stage he whispers in Aarti's ears , "I know whats going through you mind for past one month. Its time I should say whats on mine!"
The music starts , pin-drop silence .
"Aarti ji! This one is for you"

The songs conludes. There is pin-drop silence . Vidhi-Panku & PraDhi are staring AarYa simultaneously & Aarti misty-eyed. The clock hits at 12. AarYa look at each other.
Yash screams , "Happy first anniversary my love! You entered my isolated world a year back & eventually became the best part in me. I love you more than life , I love yo more than anything. You bring out the best in me. Oh Baby! You complete me!" & opens his arms wide open.
Aarti runs to him & they hug following with their first kiss.
Everybody stands up & give them a loud applause!
"I love you Yash ji!" , cries Aarti.
"I love you too Aarti ji." smiles Yash & entwines her in his warm embrace.
